Mike, I wish I could get a hold of you. I took classes with you at Berklee around the same time you started practicing for dream theater auditions , Robert James. I took polyrhythms 1&2 and the rock class learning your block form. The changes the email system right after I left and I couldn't ever email you again.

@@Isuckatlifesorry He was the best teacher I've ever had. Because he didn't just teach you how to do it, he taught you how to understand it and understand how to practice. Then it was up to you to practice to be able to execute it. And he did just that everybody in class understood the topics and how to practice them but everybody was on different levels so some were better than others. But when he asked if everybody understood the concept and how to practice it everybody said yes. Like without a doubt....lol And then it's just up to you whether or not you want to dive completely into it or learn some things here and there or not learn shit because you were just trying to get a credit....lol But the block form has helped me more than anything I learned at Berklee. Because I'm able to learn any typical radio song within max, three listens. And most within two, and there have been a handful a large handful that it only took one because I was able to write the block form out as it played and read it back and play it correctly directly after the first listen. Crazy. But with the polyrhythm stuff that shit's deep. So I felt like I would save a lot of time only learning the polyrhythms that I plan on using in a song or something as they come. Rather than dedicate hours and hours and years to learning each polyrhythm. Because I understand it and I know how to practice it and I know how to write it, so when there have been times that I've wanted to use them then I just practice that one, or line of polyrhythms and I can do it. Without dedicating my life to learning all of them...lol

Mic not loud enough to here what ur trying to teach sounds good I know but not loud enough drums sounds good voice "um" not there.
