Like I said, ^ new here. Crying about losing in the playoffs, saying things like "Same ol Dolphins". You dont have a clue. We've had 3 straight over 500 seasons before this one. You realize that from 2004 to 2019, 15 years, we had 3 in total? We were the Jim Mora meme. I want this team to be as dominate as the Chiefs, but let's not even halfway pretend like we aren't light years from the gutter we've been in. This fan base is just such hot garbage, bitching and moaning. All your big pieces are paid for, you spend the rest of this year getting it right and on track, playoffs or no, and then you have the offseason to spend money on nothing but big men up front on both sides of the ball and a solid veteran backup QB cause new money doesn't need to go anywhere else, and you carry your momentum forward. You don't just start over and reset another 20 fuckin years of rebuilding.

The fan base has spent a few decades watching their undying support result in utter disappointment, as their team relies on the legacy of what used to be to sustain it. The team, since Shula and Marino, has largely been hot garbage. I know I still have my AFC East Championship hats from 2000 and 2008, when the Dolphins at least were pretending to be great. Of course, then there's your kind of fan, where a good Wild Card record and getting ejected out of the playoffs in the first week is AWESOME!!!!! But after 16 years, maybe I'd like to buy another hat. Not this year though. Not because the team is crap all over again, but, apparently, because the "fan base is hot garbage."

I don't see a lot of wins left on the schedule. Probably split the jets, a win against the pats. There's raiders and Browns I guess but there's 4 more tough games. I see 7-10 at best.

I predicted before the season that they'd be 7-10 IF Tua stayed healthy. he has not stayed healthy. Right now I see 4 wins at best. Even if the beat the Rams all it means is that they'll lose to the Raiders, Pats, or both.

More importantly, defense needs to step up. They were the reasons for the last two losses. Not Tua. Many teams scored 24 plus points and won last week. Collinsworth said in the NFL, you should win if you score 24 or more points. Phins scored 27 in the last two games. Tua left the field with the lead. The defense needs to do their part and hold opponents to fewer than 24 points.

Only one team since the merger has started 2-7 and still made the playoffs...and that's only because the NFC East in 2020 was so bad Washington won it by finishing 7-9. Only three teams since the merger have even made the playoffs after starting 2-6.

Literally the EXACT SAME RECORD. Teams who are paying QBs over $50 mil a year to lose are the ones who "don't know ball" it seems like. They could just as easily be 2-6 with you or I playing QB.
