It’s the fallowing late May and he was dead wrong Alabama beat Georgia yet again in the SEC Championship and was in the Semi Finals only losing to Texas and then the 1 team that got caught cheating all year (Michigan) stealing call signs and still had to beat us in OT. Our new Head Coach was 14-1 only losing to that said team that got caught cheating all year. They even beat Texas in Semi Final. And before DeBoer came to Washington they were 4-8 and weren’t worth a cent but he got there and got back to back 11 14 win Seasons. So him inheriting a Dynasty should be fine if he’s done what he’s done every other place he’s stopped at.

Extremely bad play calling, inconsistency on the offensive line, and average second level play on the defense. That will not be the case this season and soon you will see that.

In fact 1920’s to 2020’s a full ass century we have won at least 1 National Championship every decade except 1950’s (our worst decade by far even going 0-10 in 1955) and 1980’s. Even 00’s we barely got won by winning the 2009 Season with the game being played January 2010. We even have won 1 this decade 2020’s winning 13-0 all P5 no cupcakes 11-0 SEC in 2020. Alabama has made the 4 team playoff 2014-2023 every year except 2019 and 2022. That is nowhere near “decaying” in fact he was so wrong we BEAT media darling Georgia in their own State in Atlanta where Georgia hasn’t beaten us in the State since Athens in 2003 haven’t beaten us in Atlanta since Halloween 1942 during WW2. I’m a Georgia fan and my gut has me going exactly where I have always hated the media for going. I can’t sleep on Sabin. Not yet atleast. In my opinion bama come back this season with a ground approach based around physicality and toughness. Every team has built toward defending these passing teams over the past few seasons. It would be a genius move. Although I do think it will take a lot more than a tough ground game to beat Uga. That approach in my opinion would atleast get them to the game with UGA

Let me refresh your memory Paul. Kiffin announced he was leaving Alabama to accept the job at FAU. He offered to stay on through the playoffs, but Saban decided him staying was a distraction and told him (he stated they "mutually agreed") that it was best for the team for him to leave after the Washington game. Saban then went with Sark (Bama then lost to Clemson). As far as the rout Mike was claiming...the game was 17-7 going into the 4th quarter. Within the first few minutes of the show, I decided Mike didn't know enough about football to keep listening to.

The Pete Carroll Trojans were huge in LA at the same time the Lakers were winning multiple championships. It just so happened USC went through a period of sucking just when the NFL came back in the market and the Rams made two Super Bowl trips. Even mid USC teams were drawing 50,000 a game before the team got good again under Rilley a year ago

@@TheLAGopher I lived in LA for 10 years and you are right about USC. Great School, and they draw a great crowd. I always saw USC shirts around town. But LA is known for Dogers and Lakers. The kings won 2 Stanley cups when I lived there. and unless you were a die hard Hockey fan, no one really cared. I still live on the West coast, and still enjoy watching PAC-12 ball. I even watch Mountain West. So my comment was really about LA fans. not the west coast.

FSU and Miami should be going to the Big 10. these are two former national powers who were independent (before the conferences) that want to become national again. you can’t do that in the SEC which is still a regional conference. the Big 10 is a national conference with schools in or near major media markets….NYC, LA, Chicago, Philly, and DC
