He has one thing that every performer would kill to have...a fan base that gets behind everything he does. I never knew why, but Mike Patton always multiplies by 10 every time he steps in Chile. The most memorable FNM shows were in Santiago and Viña Del Mar, and this "Mondo Cane" performance was one of the greatest shows I have ever seen. Brazilian greetings to all Chilean people and their always magnificent vibe.

@@adannalaz9494 If you look over Mike Patton's musical history you might see why people are so amazed by him. I saw Mr. Bungle in concert back in 1995 and also recall Faith No More back then. But from then to more recent years, Patton went on to so many other great musical ventures. It's amazing that one man did so much. His voice is amazing. He can perform in so many genres you would think it's someone else singing when it's really him.

his vocals have degraded he has lost the voice in last few years, so for that i don't think he's the greatest of all time. many great talented singers lose their voice as they age. if you can hold on to your best singing voice way into old age, then you can be the greatest of all time..

He holds the record for highest octave while singing anything . Hes an octave of 7 and Mariah carey and axel rose are on an octave six . The highest is an opera singer who can hit an octave of 8 doing a whistle sound . But phil anselmo is on an octave of 5 but he has more vocal range than anyone else .

I loooove Patton for his weird stuff, but Mondo Cane is one of my all time favorite albums and it makes me so happy to see a big crowd who love it as much as I do.

Thinking...hmmmm...Got it! The one thing he CAN'T do? Suck. He is unable to suck! When you've got the pipes and talent, it would probably take a lot of something to make him be awful...But I can't think of a thing!

Interesting! I loved Faith No More back in the day but lost touch with them. Always appreciated his talent but I never realized Mike Patton was a musical genius.

Check out ars moriendi by me. Bungle, also fronted by Mike Patton. Faith No More was his radio friendly band. He's got a lot of stuff that is brilliant but not made fir American radio.

Dude is eclectic,talent capable and quite comfortable in a rock festival or the best opera houses in Europe! Not many musicians can say that. Maybe Freddie Mercury,but it's a short list.

When he says "gracias", he had the delicacy and deference to say it with the Chilean pronunciation spot on. That makes of this guy a fucking genious because "attention to detail". Superb artist.

@@sebastiedjuan7468 Bowie as much as I didn't like him, was influential more than Patton will ever accomplish. Yet, I bet you $100 Patton can sound just like Bowie. Patton is an impressionist more or less and he "borrows" a lot of his vocals from other people. It is no different than any comedian who does the same thing with impressions of the way people talk or act. The only thing I will agree with you is that Bowie added more of himself on a personal level to his music. Patton seems disconnected from his music more than any other artist I have ever noticed. It's like he is a plumber and he is there to do a job. He ain't got time for sentiment. I guess that is how he is very productive in many different projects.
