So many memories, mom and uncles Marvin and Bob playing all of these. I play but miss them all. I would love to hear her shout out, play Up a Lazy River, again.

Transports me back to a 1950s roller rink
@bryanrendleman20012 жыл бұрын
@@xxvvkx9312 My roller rink played the 50s and 60s bubble gum pop. Lol We went to school with the owners 4 boys and girl so it was really fun. I took up skating again in 2010 for a few yrs. Still had it after a few days of practice but wore wreck pads on knees, hands, and elbows. Found a pair of padded under garment that worked great for butt falls till I got my roller feet back. Got up to 1.5 jumps and all kinds of backwards and turns but after awhile got tired of adults talking but the old guy so haven't been in awhile. It's not fun just going in a circle or backwards. I'm like a skateboard skater ! The same family still own the rinks around here and Amarillo. The dad was even still alive and skating great but had cancer last I checked. He was still skating at nearly 90 and backwards !

Spot on Maestro Reed. The right organ for the job, and most definitely the right organist. Lenny would be proud.

Yes, the great Lenny Dee. A good thing is they edited his older work (maybe his best ?) on CD (Yasmine records and others). This man is unforgettable in the organ world. I will always cherish the albums and cd's in my collection of organ music. What I hear here on youtube is almost a re-birth of Lenny, played by another giant of the Hammond. Thank you Mike.
