I found poetry at 41 at the end of 8 years with a narc. Written form enabled me to look at the peices of my life and take only what is mine. Spoken has given me a vioce. One that has conviction and strength. The result a connection with self and source. The absolute knowing that I am a necessary part of this reality.

sorry if you know this, but "After" usually means "inspired by/reference to". Sam Sax is another poet. That is all the context I have, and I may be out of the loop
