"It's a sliding scale of insanity." "I'm in charge of disorganization." Less than 2 minutes in... and the quotes are OFF the freaking charts! Much love to Mike to attempting this.
@thejurassicgameroom9344 Жыл бұрын
why did I yell, "IT DOES" at my computer when Mike said if insanity runs in your family? I mean, just because the VA told me I am a "danger to the public and myself" that I am a psychopath, and that I don't have enough tethering me to reality...... That doesn't mean I am insane, right? The docs never said that i was insane, just the other stuff. =)

This was filmed 9 or 10 years ago if I recall correctly - I was in this race but haven't been with this group since 2015 and I'm not even sure they race anymore at all. Gravity racing is a ton of fun, and Mike was great to work with from what I remember - he wanted to learn and have fun and share our stories.

Gravity racing is a lot of fun. Been riding motorcycles for 55+ years. We used to take our bikes way up to the top of a mountain or ridge, shut them off and race each other all the way to the bottom. Hanging off the side tucked in and passing cars at the same time, crazy fun . 😂😂

Hello MISFITS!!! My god the amount of ingenuity in my neighborhood-flat Houston so we had to build our own tracks. We had engineer dads come round and help us! I was one regular staple coz the guys had more fun to me than the girls! We built ERRYTHANG we had-including soapbox racers! There was not an old lawnmower, bicycle, baby buggy LEFT in our neighborhood with wheels!!! Our moms collectively banded together and MADE us RECYCLE all those(as opposed to backyard boneyards) so our forts, treehouses, and anything else we made had material, metal, handlebars everywhere 😂then one year made a Xmas tree with all the ‘stuff’ we’d collected! Everyone came to see it! Conversations were hilarious and we always had a winner for contributions too! Brownies cakes casseroles for the best designs! Mrs browns cake was coveted-red velvet!!! Memories of hearing ‘but you’re a GIRL!’ Yup-scootch over-lemme SHOW you how it’s done!’😂😂😂🙏🏻❤️

About as crazy as my old racing mower days. 1987-2002, we have went through hay bales, tumbled, various fires to various extents, shredded tires, and about every kind of motor sports failure and wreck you can think of. No cage, no belt, and no brains. I have seen bandages to stretchers. It was all in fun and boy was it! You have to give it a try. I left the insanity for a family life, shortly after my family left me, so goes life. Mikel
