Really brings a tear to your eyes to see humanity working together to help keep the environment clean and better for the next generation. I really can't thank others enough who volunteer to clean up the messes of others and make the world a better place. Our kids should be shown just how detrimental the effects of pollution and waste are and how incredible it can feel to make a difference in cleaning up one's community.

I love to see people with a passion to clean up what people seem incapable of not polluting. It reminds me of some guys that I watch on KZbin that started out just pulling vehicles out of the river near them. 'Adventures with Purpose' have now become so much more, and I don't think they get enough credit for the stuff they do. I don't know them but I've seen them work, and what they do is amazing.

If more father's were like a Mike Rowe we wouldn't have the problems we have today. I was fortunate for both my dad and step dad be the Mike Rowe in my life. When other kids played video games ( I did but not all around the clock) I was learning new skills working at the family factory and learning about the manufacturing business. My confidence and contentment would not be where it is today had it not been for hard work and appreciating what you have right in front of you.

We still struggle a bit with energy, but largely have found balance. A huge portion of that progress was pushed in 2025 when all your shows/content became a focusing lens on working class America. I met Chad many years ago (I think around 2004) when a friend's band, Johnny Russler and the Beach Bum Band, played in Keokuk, IA. Later that Summer one of my best friends, her son and I volunteered when Chad came to the Illinois River. We cleaned up Plum Island because it was becoming an eagle sanctuary instead of million dollars homes. I love seeing what he's been up to and that someone like Mike Rowe has brought Chad's story and his life mission to the public once again. Keep up the great work!❤

What a role model Chad is! 👍 We should all pitch in however we can - the flooding is only going to increase, and although it's a nice thought to keep straws and plastic bags out of the ocean - every day plastic items are getting flooded on down streams, into rivers and eventually out into the ocean. Up until about 9 months ago I lived along the Ohio River. I loved being close to the water and loved kayaking up and down the river. The amount of trash is disheartening. Always made it a pledge each spring/early summer to clean up at least 2 bags. I know its not enough but if everyone on the river did this.... Whats a shame is a lot of that stuff could have been sent to a scrap yard for a few bucks.
