Mike's Garage: E8 - Bought a John Deere L118

Hello, This is the John Deere L118 Limited Edition I bought for $500.

Just picked up a thirteen year old l118 today for 250.00. Same issue with front greAse fittings. Owner thought steering gear was bad. Nope...one wheel stuck as hades.

The tiller has it's own belt that works off of the electric clutch for the mower deck. No it wasn't a long drive I bought it from a house not to far up the street from me. The old guy bought it new used it one season and then he died. It's been in the barn since 2004. I charged the John Deere battery and drove it home. Look at some of my videos and you can see how well it tills.

I have the same one and mine had 908 hours and it’s a 2006
