As always, my favorite time of the year for your reviews! Even if I didn't buy half of your top 10, I agree with your choices! I'm searching for Luke and Leia as I heard they're in my state this week. Kudos to pronouncing Joruus C'Baoth's name. Now I just have to nail spelling it without consulting lol. I never would have got the pronounciation on my own, YTers helped there. 6:37 You said 7 Ep I figures but it looks like the Droideka is missing. Oh well. Maybe you were hiding it for the reveal of spot #5!

I am almost 40 and still collect black series. Slowed down a bit cause of the kid but he’s awesome so it’s a good trade off lol. Great video have most of what you listed and didn’t realize how many I got this year. Thanks for being a bright spot In toy collecting and in Star Wars in general

Nice list I just ordered Luke rn after seeing so many people talk about him, prolly gonna get Leia soon. Anyways my list 1. Maul (all of them) 2. Yoda and Gree ( mostly yoda) 3. Mando ( got this one in January 2024) 4. 332nd and 501st trooper ( gonna put the phase 1 white here as well) 5. Darth sidious 6. Super battle droid 7. Droideka 8. Mace windu and the 187th 9. Ahsoka the white 10. Starkiller Honorable mention Ki Adi mundi and Thrawn

I liked the idea of getting Gree in his standard armor and not the Kashyyk armor. That 2 pack was the best of 2024 for me. Just wish Gree had a removable helmet. Great video as always Mike!

Awesome list! I look forward to this more than most videos every year. (See what I did there twisting your intro?) My list is similar with a few surprises here and there. 10. Neel - The head sculpt and accessories are really nice with this little guy. Also I love the character. 9. Osha - I feel Hasbro came in hard with The Acolyte figures. Say what you want about the show (I liked it) but the sculpt is really good. 8. Mae - You could bundle this one with Osha. I like the cloak and face mask a little more than Osha's accessories. 7. Pirate Captain Brutus - I ended up liking this figure more than I thought that I would. He's another amazing sculpt with lots of paint and 5 freakin' blasters! 6. The Pit Droids - I passed on the Disney Droid Pack, so these are my first Pit Droids and I absolutely love them. They also come with a really nice R5-D4 accessory. 5. Captain Enoch - Just another in a ever growing line of characters that just look SO cool. Hasbro nailed his look. 4. Hammerhead - He will ALWAYS be Hammerhead to me. It's always amazing when Hasbro uses a little wash on the figures. It makes a world of difference. 3. KI-Adi-Mundi - I know that you hate this guy, but he is easily the most articulated Jedi we have in the line. The sculpt is incredible as well. It was a LONG wait for him, but well worth it. 2. Droidika - I understand that there isn't a lot you can do with it other than have it stand there, but that's all that I needed. This has been at the top of my most wanted list for so many years. Holy crap I feel Hasbro delivered with this one. H.M. IG-12 - It was a real toss up with IG-12 and Neel. I love this figure, but I have a feeling I like Neel's character a little more and that gave Neel the edge. (I can make an edging reference as well.) 1. Super Battle Droid - I wanted to put the Droidika here so badly, but honestly this is a nearly perfect figure. I feel that this very well may be the #2 figure Hasbro has ever made. (I will probably die on the hill with my old trusty Gamorrean Guard, but it's very close.)

Loved your top ten… I’ll be 55 this year and I’m still buying Star Wars figures like it was 1977-78 when my mom would buy them for me . There is No shame in it at all. With the way the world is going a figure doesn’t hurt anyone lol !!! So if you’re reading this go buy a fig !!! Take care Ed …

As far as my age, I saw the first Star Wars movie in the theater (no subtitle Episode 4 A New Hope and without the extras enhanced scenes) in 1977 when I was a mere young feller.

Great video! Great list! Always love the end of year Top Ten. My top 3 were BOBF Mando, Darth Maul(s), Momaw Nadon, the SBD, and Capt. Brutus. Just got Luke and Leia today and they are fantastic. Looking forward to the upcoming Jedi ladies and Savage Oppress. Here’s hoping 2025 is the year we finally get Lobot…I mean, A.I. is huge right now, C’mon Hasbro! Ugnaughts and Cloud City guards too! ESB 4 LIFE!

Hasbro keeps delaying the release of the Mike (Edging) figure for the Podcast Greats sub-line 😞 Anyways, Top 10: Mandalorian Shriek Hawk (couldn’t put it down), Captain Brutus, Din Djarin (Glavis Ringworld), Momaw Nadon (Hammerhead), Emperor ✨SHEEV✨ Palpatine, Yoda and Gree 2-pack, Inquisitor Cal 3-pack (plz give us the last Purge Trooper variant and eventually update them all to 3.0 body or eventual 4.0 with better visors), Ki-Adi Mundi (Heartbreaking: worst character you know makes for a action figure), Super Battle Droid, Darth Maul (any of them, I have all 3). I treated myself to a PS5 for completing my PhD and could finally play Jedi: Fallen Order, so I had to put the 3-pack on there. I loved the Purge Troopers, so I was glad to get another variant - the rarest of the 4 versions in the game no less. I don’t mind the purge troopers on the old clone body, but would eventually love them on the new body (and with accurate pauldrons), Taron Malicos, the rest of the Mantis crew, Trilla without her helmet, the last Purge Trooper variant (electro-baton), and maybe a couple variants of Cal with different ponchos and BD-1. Wishful thinking for 2025 and beyond.

New lighting? Camera? You’re looking good. Luke and Leia is coming. My top three are interchangeable. They are great! SBD, Yoda, and Momaw Nadon. All three have been my fidgettes since I received them. Yoda is awesome! SBD is maybe one of the greatest Black Series figures made when it comes to sculpt/articulation/value. Just awesome! Momaw Nadon is my hope for future and its bearing fruit. More aliens. Great sculpt and good articulation. Please. And it’s coming. They’re making freaking Sebulba! Maul is awesome too. I just don’t fidget with him as much. Right now Jar Jar rides the Blood Fin. Brutus is awesome too! I fidget with him more than Maul. It’s a Wolfman pirate! He like just works. Mail is bad ass with double saber. So yeah. Besides those I’m thrilled to have a few Droidekas. Sure would like a Nute Gunrey to accompany them. Love Glaivus World Mando and IG Grogu. They’re repping my Mando love. Fun figures! Uhm what’s next? Other cool stuff I guess? Sidious is fun. Can’t wait for 2025. 2024 was a great year for Black Series. Great!

Well, I guess the only 2024 figure I bought was Hammerhead. Although I technically didn't buy him until 2025, when I found him at Gamestop last weekend. Easily one of my favorite Black Series purchases in a while. So that means that the only Black Series figures I actually bought in 2024 were from 2023. Probably just the 40th Anniversary Removable Helmet Darth Vader and the 40th Endor Rebel Commando. But I had to resort to buying those two online, since I never saw them in stores at all. BTW, did you give your Hammerhead figure the gun from the 1996 POTF2 figure?

Not including the older nonfigure stuff I got in 2024 (snowspeeder, dewback), my top five are: Emperor Palpatine on throne, new Leia, Captain Rex, Rebels Sabine Wren, Dedra Meero. 3 of these are rereleases, which I was stoked to pay retail for. What are the 4 other reissues in 2025?

Man those Ithorians are the craziest looking alien species. I defy the current incarnation of Lucasfilm to come up with an alien so totally off the wall, yet anthropolically believeable as an Ithorian. They just don’t have it where it counts to do that creatively IMO.
