Awesome video. My first purchase was a preorder of the Snowspeeder, and when trying to find out more about black series I found your channel, and more importantly, your video of the hoth rebel trooper and I’ve been a subscriber since. I bought Luke’s land speeder and Heroes of Endor set. I managed to get a few scout trooper bikes, I’ve always loved that vehicle as a kid, and would buy another one if they rereleased it. I also got a Mandalorian version. I wish they would do more vehicles and certainly showed up with the maul and battle droid vehicles. I only have one STAP, but I’m tempted to get another one. There’s so many vehicles I would love. Vader’s TIE fighter, an A wing, a Bespin Cloud car and an AT-ST would be awesome. I’m more of an original trilogy collector but would be happy with more prequel vehicles.

My Tie fighter cost me £60 from toys r us was going bust. Today that would be a haslab. But I'll never forget seeing it for that price and using my saved birthday money to buy it. While I don't collect black series anymore, that's definitely one of my happiest collecting memories.

I have all of the vehicles… I love them… buying them at the time is a very different story in the UK from my experience. You had an abundance of shelf warmers in the US and empty shelves in the UK… this is a hasbro distribution problem not a fan problem, they scuppered themselves and blame the fans! Look at the Rancor, the failure is entirely down to them!

Hello Mike I'm running behind on my video watching. When I started collecting black series was about a year after the Star Wars 40th Anniversary figures were released so I got this line pretty late. My first new Black Series vehicle was the Rebel Snowspeeder. Hasbro stated that they sold the Snowspeeders at a loss. Don't know if that is true or not but, I paid full price for my Snowspeeder. I paid full price for the Hero's of Endor set, Mando Speeder Bike, the Bloodfin, and one STAP so far. I've managed to get Han and Taun Taun, Luke and Wampa Empire 40th Wampa, and Luke's Landspeeder. I still need/want the Target exclusive Stealth Squad (black speeder bike with stealth Scout Trooper and stealth Stormtrooper, and a Dewback with Sandtrooper. For my collection. Thanks again Mike for taking the time to put this video together for us, I appreciate your efforts. I'd also like a video about the deluxe figures/sets when you get time. I’ve purchased all of my vehicles at retail price. As not unlike yourself, I want more and wish to support the line for Hasbro to see there’s genuine interest. The Snowspeeder is my favourite vehicle of all time, so you can imagine I was well chuffed to see it in the line. In fact it’s what brought me back to to Black Series line. Up until that point my interest was a bit fleeting. I had about 8 figures at that point. Starting with Sandtrooper and X-Wing Luke my two favourite figures. All three of these had meaning for me from the first Kenner releases in ‘78-‘80. I would though also love some diorama pieces along with future vehicles.😁

I would love to see an updated Taun Taun, and I think many other collectors would too. I have a feeling that the TIE would have sold better if it was an OT Tie. Fortunately I got my hands on the wide release of the Landspeeder, the snowspeeder, got a Dewback and the re-release of the Wampa. And I have a couple of speeder bikes, they could easily re-release those again too.

The high point was defo the snow speeder what a fantastic 1/12 vehicle,my fave piece in my black series collection tbh,i was wanting Darth maul & the sith speeder for so many years & we got it this year so I am a happy bunny 🐰 as for vehicles now the should do a mandalorian speeder set or that mini clone chicken walker,as for haslabs I would say the AT-ST with 2 drivers & no tier bs would be a good option or just do the rancor & rancor keeper again that's still a hole in my collection lol,great vid as always keep up the great work 😊🤘

This vid is 🔥 Tbh I'm very picky about large items due to space. TPM is my favorite, so had to get STAP and Bloodfin, but there's not much left on my zero hesitation list. Creatures vs vehicles is a useful distinction, because I'm way more down for creatures. Geonosis arena beasts (they ride one!) and Obi-Wan's veractyl are instant gets. Anything else would depend on the set, like if it has an exclusive figure like Sabine from Ahsoka ep1. Hope they can continue to do more creatures and speeders. For anything Jedi Starfighter size or bigger, I just think it makes more sense to start an MGS collection.

This was a fascinating video Informative and Entertaining Perhaps people who buy Black Series are happy to display just the figs because they particularly like a larger but accurate scale for their favourite characters. If you have large vehicles the characters just sit in a cockpit and are no longer visible. The vehicle's look great but they are quite large and quite expensive too. Happy Christmas dude 🤘👍🌲

Excellent retrospective. I came to the line in 2017ish and built my Death Star diorama and quickly realized that world building is very different space wise. So I don’t have any vehicles. I actually just have the figures and even those are selectively chosen. Hope the line continues. I do like it and have a few on preorder. Just picked up the R5D4 droid mondo pack. (Half off) glad they resized the buck. That was another reason. Without properly sized “R” droids the collection looks off. Be well!

6” is definitely a hard line to world build in. Any solid dioramas or large vehicles just take up so much space. It would be so cool to have something as simple as an x-wing, but I don’t think people realize how massive that would be.

Bought most of them and at full price too. The tie fighter I got on sale at TRU. I would buy more vehicles, beasts and environments at full price too but would also expect more accuracy. The tie fighter remains in its box as it wasn’t made to be disassembled which was a rookie error on their part.

I bought that 2015 TIE Fighter from a Gamestop when it came out, so I'm sure I paid a little more than MSRP for it. I remember the wings being a little soft and warping too easily, but I liked it for the most part. I ended up selling it to a local toy shop in 2020, mainly because I was moving out of state that year and I had bought a different car during those 5 years and the TIE Fighter was too big to fit in the backseat. I don't remember how much I sold it for exactly, but I know it was a for a fraction of what I paid for it (but it was either that or toss it in a dumpster, because there was no way I could take it with me). When they do release a Black Series vehicle that I want, then I never have a problem paying full price for it. I just have to actually want it and have the space to display it. Still I would love for them to make an A-Wing fighter. It would be roughly the same size as the Snowspeeder and we could get an A-Wing Pilot figure to go with it. That's something that I would happy to preorder and would be counting the days until it was released; but I've always been a big fan of the A-Wing. If we're dreaming big and going into Haslab territory, then I'd gladly support a Black Series TIE Bomber or an AT-ST. A properly scaled AT-ST would probably be 4-5 feet tall, so I doubt Hasbro would even consider something that large, but make it around 3 feet tall and I'd be happy with it.

Honestly, I'm moving out of state in the next few months and I'm trying to decide if it's worth trying to move. It's so big. And I don't know how to pack it to make sure it would even survive. But I like having it, even if it's just a big display piece that never gets touched. I think you're spot on about the A-Wing. I think people dont realize how big an X-wing would be, but an A-wing I do think is doable. And absolutely, I would love an AT-ST. I think scaling it to be about 3 feet, while not spot on to the movies, would be acceptable. And since the space it takes up is vertical instead of horizontal, it would be a slam dunk.

@@MikeKaess The best part about an AT-ST is that its shelf-footprint is relatively small compared to the overall size of the vehicle. It's almost like a giant action figure. Plus most of its size is in the legs, so even if Hasbro did make it as tall as the Sail Barge is long, it would require much less plastic and probably be much cheaper for them to produce. As long as they don't cheap out on the joints and the thing is able to support its own weight, then this is probably my biggest dream item for the Black Series.

I would absolutely love an X-Wing! I’ve been hoping for one for years now. If they can do the GI Joe Dragonfly then they can definitely do an X-Wing. They’ve released the different pilots so I thought for sure they were planning on a release. I’d also really love a Mandalorian N-1 Starfighter and a Y-Wing Starfighter! I only collect Black Series though I do appreciate the Vintage Collection. I just can’t afford to collect both or I would. I just have to keep on hoping for more ships in Black Series form. I also thought for sure that they would rerelease the Tie Fighter in the original trilogy paint scheme. Maybe they’re just waiting until the big 50th anniversary to do so. That would be the absolute perfect time to release an X-Wing also, fingers crossed!

The only thing preventing me from getting Maul / Bloodfin is that I have the Hot Toys version. It was the first Hot Toys I even bought. If it goes on sale then maybe. I like the STAP and battle droid too, but I don't have that emotional connection like I do with a named character. Again, if it goes on sale, then maybe. I LOVE my dewback however. Bought him on the aftermarket and he's stayed on my desk ever since. I have TFA Han on him, I think he looks great on it.

Of the vehicles, I still have the original speeder bike (think it was on discount), and got the Dewback on clearance. Vehicles I'd like to see, that I think are certainties: AT-ST, BARC speeder, A skiff from ROTJ, maybe the Cloud Car (but that's pretty niche), Anakin's Podracer The AT-ST feels like the absolute size limit for the line, but, I don't think tanks (AAT), or smaller walkers (AT-RT, AT-TE) are impossible. I'd like to see an AT-AT Haslab, same goes for the LAAT gunship. Pipe dream that will absolutely never happen: Millennium Falcon *or an Ebon Hawk just for me*

They are completely ludacaris and nonsensical, but i have a ✨️need✨️ for those Epsiode 9 tread-bikes. But honestly as a diorama person, I'll take all the objects/ vehicles/ critters i can get. Side note, I've personally been collecting the Micro Galaxy Squadron series since they are scaled to each other as a vehicle display. Sometimes stuff is just too big. As far as vehicle inspiration goes, that series has like, 20 variations of just speeders, the Droid's escape pods, ewok gliders, plenty of stuff that would fit right into black series scale if they wanted to make them.

I don't have the black Speeder Bike set, The Tauntaun (never saw it) or the Tie Fighter (too big). I was in on the Rancor. Love the Heroes of Endor set. I also haven't opened it. Really good packaging. I also gave the Darth Maul & Speeder a miss due to already having got the figuarts version for a real good price a couple of years ago. Hahahaha, I have multiples but can always use another Battle Droid. I think the vehicles have been pretty well priced. IG-12 may be a Deluxe figure, but is a vehicle foe Grogu.

Tbh I was not a proponent of the black series as I’d invested so much in 3.75” figures in the few years prior. I have no BS vehicles in my collection, save for a couple imp speeder bikes and they are pretty cool. I may pick up a Snowspeeder somewhere at a slightly inflated price. I realise now I snoozed on it, because it rocks… But what I’d like to see is an ETA-2 Jedi interceptor or an A-wing and I guess the V-wing. Smaller fighters. Totally doable in the Black Series for retail

I have the first release Scout Trooper and Speeder bike and Luke and Rey's speeders. I love all three. Even if there's things I dislike about a Star Wars film or series, I can see past that if I like the design of a character or vehicle. A film I do love Is Solo: A Star Wars Story. I'd like the Imperial Patrol Trooper's bike, with a Patrol tropper that doesn't have the wretched Y-Jointed hips. Maybe the speeders from Attack of the Clones. The green one Zam Wessell is chased in by Anakin, and the Yellow one he nicks. I have them both from the 3 & 3/4" line backin the day. I've tended to buy Black Series vehicles off Ebay. Usually at reduced price. Price and space are an issue for me.

I own them all except that Shadows of the Empire speeder and Heros of Endor. (I just don't really care about Shadows of the Empire and already had a speederbike.) I started collecting around late 2015 or early 2016. So I was playing catch up right away and had a much tighter budget then. I picked up many of these after the release and got them on sale for the most part. (The Tauntaun and original speederbike was still full price.) I started paying full price and getting them at release with the Snowspeeder. (My budget has improved vastly since then.) I have also made a point to get them at full price so Hasbro will make more. I think the main problem with the Bloodfin is the color. I got it as soon as I could, but really wish it was movie accurate. I am nervous thinking about customizing the color for something like that. I was about to ask about the future of vehicles for the next email section of the Cantina, so I guess I don't need to do that now. I still hope Hasbro makes more and will be right beside you getting them with you Mike.

I personally really want them to make Boga and the wheel bike from Revenge of the Sith. Otherwise, I'm just not really into the vehicles.

Disney Royalties. Twice what their competitors are asking and Disney makes more per item than Hasbro for doing essentially nothing towards producing the toy, apart from demanding what toys they make to follow their sub par Uber expensive movies and shows. I would not like to be in Hasbro’s shoes with Star Wars tbh.

How are the blasters on your STAP's not warped? On mine they just go in all directions it sucks. I mean did Hasbro intentionally make them so gummy because kids might poke their eyes out 🙄c'mon.

I have to disagree with releasing Maul 3 times in short period being little icky. It gives freedom of choice. You want him with his speeder? Got it. Still missing Qui-Gon and Padawan Obi-Wan? Well here it is with character you want to pose with them. You have those 2 or just want Maul? Single release it is then. Only complain is that single release should have come with robe so you dont feel like your missing out

Well the problem is that none of them are perfect. The Sith Speeder version has soft goods, which I don’t think looks as good as the modes plastic. But i also want the vehicle and ALL the accessories.
