Mikey made up so much ground on that play. It's arguably the best play of the game

@honestfan442 I've had a perfect picture of that play blown up and printed; now all I need to do is find a nice frame for it and it will go up next to my framed photo of Desmond's 4th down catch against Notre Dame and Marquise Walker's legendary catch against Iowa in Kinnick Stadium. For what it's worth those are the two best catches in Michigan history IMO. I also think Walker is one of the top 2 underrated Michigan players of all time, right up there with Derrick Alexander.

Couldn't wait to see this get posted .Talk about hidden Gems . I watched him become something no one saw coming . He could easily go back to WR and I don't think anyone remembers how good he was at catching passes . I didn't see him then as a stud DB , but yet here he is . Best 2 way player I've seen at this level in the big 10. And doesn't miss a beat. NFL calling is obvious.

Nice video, cool to learn more about Mikey Sainristil. To be such a good receiver and DB at the D-1 level playing teams like Ohio shows how freakishly talented he is, but especially humble and hard working. So glad he’s on the team. Great example of how well UM develops their players. He was a high 3 star, low 4 star rated played who almost nobody knew of and has turned himself into a potential 1-3rd round pick, depending on how he progresses this season. I’m confident he will take major strides. If he was that good playing DB in his first year than he should be elite this year with his drive and commitment. Go blue and Mike! Go get that natty, the biggest and best fan base in the world is behind you! Plus with that Michigan degree if the NFL doesn’t work out for whatever reason you can get a job Anywhere and won’t ever have to pay for anything again in A2.

Wow, the great player sounds like a great person. Very interesting for the fans to know more about who these players are and hear them talk about bigger things, and the bigger things in the game and in the team. Makes one pause and think about how one can be better.

Mikey is a winner and an absolute dawg, love that he stuck it out at Michigan because he definitely could've played wide out at the DI level if it meant that much to him. Instead he took to the defensive side of the ball like a fish takes to water, it's crazy that he's an unfinished product on defense because he's already at the level where there's no one else I feel more comfortable with watching defend a pass play right now. Congrats on the pick 6 today Mikey, go blue!

Watching the "Those Who Stay" series is great! I would like to point out that Coach H doesn't just develop players to their full potential on the field, he develops these young players into men. Listen to them talk, it's not about them it's about the bigger and better things, it's about being successful in life as well as on the field. Love coach H or hate him...he can develop those 3 /low 4 stars into NFL material and it's happened time and time again! Seeing these athletes who stayed and could have went on to the NFL for the 'big dollars' is humbling and it shows that there is real value beyond dollars in being a part of the team. That's the Michigan difference! GO BLUE!

When I think of the classic and iconic statement, "Those who stay will be champions." Mike Sainistril embodies that statement. In today's transfer portal college football, Sainistril could have packed his bags and left, and to be honest Michigan fans would probably have forgotten all about him, but he chose to trust the process and stay. He developed into a great player and became a champion. He cemented himself in Michigan football history forever!

I could honestly see Mike being a full-time, two-way athlete in the NFL; something that hasn't been accomplished since Charles Bednarik, who played Center and LB for the Eagles from ‘49-’62. Or he could be a Sanders, either way, this guy is generational talent imo.
