#Padres manager Mike Shildt and yet another incredible walk-off by rookie Jackson Merrill vs. the Mets, his vantage point of near-double by David Peralta, how Yu Darvish fared in first simulated game and returning to St. Louis.

Love that quote by the manager... This team can show emotion without getting emotional.

I love our manager, questioning the press… “where are you going with this question”?…

“IF WE ARE DOWN, WE WILL FIND A AWAY, AND IF WE ARE UP, ITS (NEVER) ENOUGH” IS ONE OF THE GREATEST AND MOST FITTING QUOTES FOR SAM DIEGO‼️💯💯💯 #LFGSD

My schildty always sounds like he just ran 3 blocks to get to the press conference. I always want him to catch his breath. ❤ love this guy.

There may be like 5 good managers in the entire league and we have one of them. It's not easy to find.

I liked where at 2:44 Mike Shildt took a multi-faceted question and answered and explained further that some of the plays are out of his control and I hope that @KevinAcee is watching.

Hi Marty. Great content! Subscribed! We miss you and Darren middays. Any prospects for your return? Best of wishes to you both. You are the best option available in the time-slot. ❤

No nonsense Mike + players that try to always keep themselves in check = let’s keep taking care of business all the way through for Peter 😃

Every game the media asks over and over how amazing is Jackson Merrill, and the reason why Shildt and the players aren't amazed anymore is because they saw it from the very beginning, in spring, and they were trying to tell us then. When Tatis said he was special (which he's never said about another rookie) people mocked him. Now the rest of the world is catching up to what they already knew from the get go.

Reporters need to ask better questions and ask them succinctly. That reporter fumbling over his question to Shildt about Merrill being thrown out, and then saying Merrill made a mistake and atoned for it? Merrill attempted to steal a base, stole it, over slid, was upset w/ himself, gets over it b/c he's a pro. Homers to win b/c that's what he does. End of story. Why press this question w/ Shildt and then Merrill? Both Shildt and Merrill had the same response and shut this guy down.

Just remember in this series the Mets had to win while we just want to win and we are in the drivers seat. Now the dodgers have to play the Mets

Why do reporters ask the worst questions? How did they get their job?
