It really could have been an “F you, if you can’t throw up and in without hitting my guys then don’t throw up and in”. Holmes really hasn’t had great control when it’s been dry, let alone in a rain storm, so I can’t really disagree with Hyde here.

To people who think that Holmes was trying to hit or throw inside there, understand that it’s raining, his grip on the ball is probably very wet and slippery. He probably lost control of the ball and it went t up and in on the batter. I’m not really sure who the O’s manager was yelling at in the dugout but I’d like to find out what sparked that reaction other than being mad your guy got hit in the head.
