good afternoon mike. always interesting to see irl. I wanted to ask you. Could you give me some information about the racing slick if that's easy for you. What is the slip window, how much does the grip of the rubber drop when sliding, lateral, in general, any, as well as understeer, almost completely or not, how quickly is it restored?

I don’t really have numbers for you, but in general, a slick has a narrow operating range of slip angle than a street tire and grip falls away quicker. Understeer is more about setup than the tire itself.

That’s really mind blowing how quick you’re driving that car! Thanks for the video!! Do you know if us mere mortals should worry about oil surge when using S55 with slicks or semi slicks on track? Do they use the stock oiling system on the racing cars? 🙏🙏

I am not sure about that to be honest. I know there are a ton of guys running the street cars with slicks at track days, but haven't heard of failures.
