The fact that he reached me with his music in the states when I was a kid is a MARK IN MUSIC HISTORY. I've been paying attention to UK garage/grime/rap ever since 2003 I am forever grateful for this countries lyrical talent. FlowDan, Mike, Wiley, Dizzee, Skepta etc etc etc If any of you lot read this! BIG UP!

"Yeah yeah, most defiantly " is the usual sign a interviewer is thinking more about the next question they are going to ask rather than taking in what the person has said.

That guy from London Posty does this alllll the time
@TGFLdn247 жыл бұрын
jahhutrt lepeed respect to Posty tho, I know he is not a expert at this interview thing and he does provide the jokes but they need to let Viz lead with the questions and posty should keep it basic loooool.
@TGFLdn247 жыл бұрын
Bradley Stocker yep I do it too but this is the usual delaying tactic from some interviewers 😄😄, wish they could of been as relaxed and engaged as they was with tinie tempah one.
@aldanielfrancis51907 жыл бұрын
but to be fair i wondered where viz was, posty used his broad shoulders to carry the interview, the even better thing was that mike was chilled and reflective and honest liked his character, glad for shamz too as she put in a few good Q's, viz pull ya finga out lol

Mike Skinner. I went to the streets "last gig" three times. I found this annoying at the time (you cheeky chappy) as I had very little money but couldn't resist an opportunity to see you again and again. I have a lot of hope for the future, but looking back at it now those were the best days of my life. Thank you. And Big up NFTR this show is the one.

It's sick looking at Mike Skinner from outside of the box here in California.. much respect and have to say there aren't many artists here in the US that can produce such an ageless piece of art like The Streets. Although I will never be able to connect to the material in the same way that people involved in the culture were, what captivates me are his lyrics that make me feel like I'm witnessing that scene as it was. How many artists have tried to portray there projects as interwoven pieces of art but how many were actually cohesive and successful in "painting" their image? Not many.

wasn't really into mike skinner when he was big but nobody of a certain age can say they haven't heard a track of his. legendary for british music and still involved. I'm way older than most and wasn't really feeling eski beats either in the beginning but what it's turned into currently is big. British music has finally found it's own lane and ironically now the world is taking note. Ironically again forget the beef hype that comes with the wiley x dizzee clash but how sick would it be for british music,world music and them individually if at this stage in their careers if wiley and dizzee got on a track together and went H.A.M for ten minutes! str8 🔥.
