MIKE & THE MECHANICS - Take the reins (Live at Tower Theatre, Philadelphia PA U.S. - June 19th 1986)

Mike & The Mechanics was the Mike Rutherford's side project band apart from Genesis.
Genesis finished the recording of the Invisible Touch album in March of 1986 and Mike had the opportunity of a short Tour with The Mechanics for the first time in June/July of that year. Just 24 gigs played 22 of which were performed in the States and the remaining two in Canada. And then Mike started with Genesis the 115 gigs "Invisible Touch Tour" in September.
This is an almost complete performance from Mike's band at the Tower Theatre in Philadelphia on June 19th of 1986. Very good sound indeed.
