White lion is nothing without Vitto. He was a genius when it comes to Rock guitar playing. There is Via/satriani etc etc, but i rate Vitto above all of them. Never heard anyone playing guitar like him. Out of this world melodic and complex solos. Even his rhythms were like guitar solos. No one misses u more than me Vitto. U were, are and always be my number one GUITAR HERO.

agree with you 100 percent; there maybe faster more technical players such as satriani, vai, chris broderick, petrucci, etc, but none of them had vito's signature sound which was incredible. HEre we are 25 years later and fans are still raving about his playing and his composing.

White Lion disappeared without Vito. Vito made the sound and Mike had the voice. The band is nothing without them both.

Vito doesn't have any love for the music anymore. I can't blame him. Those guys poured their hearts into the music only to be fucked by their record label and end up broke in the end. Don't hate on Mike, I'm sure he's tried numerous times over the years.

There is not the huge demand to put WL reunion tour. Just like a Skid Row reunion tour. No disrespect to any of the bands. first is are all the members into it, second what would be the cost to do said tour, three what would it make. If it is not going to make a huge amouth of money it is not worth it to a promoter to book a tour like that.I Now if WL could go out in support of Kiss, Bon Jovi, or a bigger name then it could maybe happen. It really comes down to how much money will it bring in. Never a huge WL fan but they had a talent, good songs, and their fan base. They have their fans and i understand people wanting to see it happen, but the demand is not there. There are some bands i would love to see reunit, but it is most likely not in the cards. Money and demand for said tour are to huge factors. Bands like Kiss, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Jovi, Poison, Crue, Def Lapped all have a huge draw and demand.

According to Mike,Vito never really had ambition to begin with. He basically had to be dragged away from his parents home and talked in to doing so...Mike said Vito was already happy where he was doing Van Halen covers with his little Bar Band.

Mike I disagree about bands going on with a name and new members. What about the Stones starting way back with Brian Jones, Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman ect. I mean at what point between these players would you have wanted a name change? I understand what your saying and now Lizzy has become Black Star Riders so its just a matter of everyone getting adjusted to that.

He’s not comparing talent. He’s making the comparison that both are the only constant members. Whitesnake has had 100 musicians....as to why he said he respects Plant for saying no even though to a lot of people Plant Page and Jones is real enough. You can compare anything to anything. Sometimes it’s to show contrast like Gold and Poop, and sometimes is just to show an example. This was a good example, doesn’t mean he doesn’t like whitesnake, and it doesn’t mean he thinks he’s as good or successful as Whitesnake...it’s just an example to illustrate his own reasons. It’s vivid. Vs using an unknown. If I’m making an example by comparison, I’m going to use something or someone that people know.
