@donaldwhoskins6 ай бұрын
He'd be proud but also disappointed too.. he really thought tyson would be the best ever and Tyson while mad successfully and amassed a 50-6 record and is my favorite fighter ever.. the drug use the 3 1/2 years in prison took vastly from him and showed no discipline. Cus wouldn't like that.. but still comfort mike.

What people need to in understand is that peek a boo style of boxing is an inferior technique of Boxing in general. It works well with certain types like Tyson however it is only a short window of dominance. It’s an outdated style that’s why professional boxers don’t train in peek a boo anymore. Cus wasent trying to make Tyson the best ever he was hell bent on developing the youngest heavyweight champion
@bostonbladereviews9192 ай бұрын
@@MattV-cz7jkI beg to differ on this.. cus was creating a fighter that would wreak havoc on all! The peek a boo is a highly effective style of boxing and had Tyson not got involved in drugs etc he would have went undefeated from the 80s to 2000s . Think about it .. he fought from the 80s to 2000s and only lost a few fights!!

The difference that individual such as Cus D’Amato can make in ones life is ridiculous, that connection, strength of character, opennes, it got straight into core of your being and reshape you conpletely, father figure that very few men had luck to have in their life, someone need it more someone maybe less, some find it inside themselves, we all have it, but som of us are so disconnected that we need it from outside to reconnect, to find it again 🙏🏼
