That was a problem for Tyson and I think he became intimidated by Holyfield, especially in the second fight. Tyson fought so badly in both fights, pity Tyson didn’t have better opposition at his peak. Most of the good fights for Tyson were after his peak.

Before 1990 he always was able to create chances with first punch, stable on his legs. After this mark more and more he developed his habbit to jump in with one punch especially when the opponent (as Holyfield did) acted two-sided - once creating distance and next covering it. In such cases Tyson was always one or one-two punching frustrated travesty of himself
