When Tyson was under the guidance of Cus D'Amato and Kevin Rooney, there was no stopping him. Also too, when Holmes was passed his prime, he challenged Lennox Lewis and he refused to fight Holmes because he had a great jab. In my eyes, Holmes was the greatest champion. He was robbed from beating Rocky Marciano's record and fought his way through the greatest era of boxing. Out of 75 fights, he won 69, 44 by KO and only 6 by loss. Still astonishing who during one of mikes fights the experts hardly ever mention mikes incredible defence. They are talking about every time he gets hit count how many times tucker misses it really is just as impressive 🤷♂️

Great Fight. im a huge tyson fan, I study him more then any other boxer. At this point I feel that tyson was looking for the one big punch to end it instead of throwing combo's like he did own up till he became champion, my uncle once told me that there is somebody out there that can take your best punch and this guy definitely took shots that would have knocked out most of anybody else and showed more heart then any other fighter I've ever seen that fought tyson in his prime but if tyson was still fighting like he did when they called him kid Dynamite instead of looking for one punch like iron Mike then the fight wouldn't have made to the 5 round

I always felt like Tucker had nothing to be ashamed of. If it’s not a draw then you either win or lose. He didn’t get the decision but he wasn’t a battered broken defeated man. I wouldn’t even call him the loser, I’d rather call him the non-victor. I think one of the things the judges looked for was aggression moving forward. Frazier did it against everyone including Ali and Frazier got the decision. It doesn’t mean Ali was clearly beaten and humiliated. Ali fought great that night in red. Just the way of the business.

I've watched them all, and this might be close to his closest match. Tucker dealt some devastating blows. There were times the match could've been his. If he'd trained to counter a right hand with a left uppercut, who knows

I agree but if there was a rematch tuckers done, because this was mikes first challenge and to have to ajust like this, id say he did great, rematch mike wins in my opinion
