It's not like many of the fighters he beat had much of a career anyway. Holmes had a great career but had already retired once and Spinks dominated the light heavyweight and only fought heavyweight for the money. Other than that, most of Tyson's wins were over mediocre fighters at best.

@@rssphllps Larry Holmes never achieved what Mike Tyson did ! Mike was one of the fastest recorded boxer in history with the best defense ever. How many boxers have you seen finish that many people with a first round knockout
@rssphllps5 жыл бұрын
@@Amzodt - Wow- What a ridiculous comment. Larry Holmes went undefeated until just shy of his 36 birthday. He defended the heavyweight title 20 times and you think Tyson achieved more? Tyson won the belts early against extremely weak champions and could only hold them for a couple of years before he was absolutely destroyed at the early age of 23 by Douglas. As far as KO's go that means very little. Check out the middle weight named John Mugabi. He had a ridiculous amount of early round KO's, far higher rate than Mike Tyson. According to your logic he must have been a better fighter than Marvin Hagler who had much less early KO's. However, when they fought Hagler beat him because power isn't enough against the best. That's what Tyson found out when he fought Holyfield, Lewis and even Douglas.

@perpetualmotion3572 жыл бұрын
I don't think there was an athlete in history that had such an intense aura around him as Tyson did in the 80's. He seriously looked invincible. After he became champ he went around collecting the rest like Link gathering pieces of the Triforce. Making these other champions and contenders look like regular people off the street. His attributes were like using a cheat code. He weighed as much and had the intimidation factor like a Liston, his power was reminiscent of larger men such as Foreman and Shavers, and he had the speed and elusiveness of a Cassius Clay, all at 20. Not only does he possess all those skills, but it's like he was also perfectly designed to implement Cus's peekaboo technique. Perfect height, perfect reach, tremendous leg power, ridiculously fast twitch reaction, thick neck with a granite chin (though he was so elusiveness it was barely tested but it was there.) Imagine Mike using a different boxing style? I can't at all. Maybe I could see him do a Frazier but that's it. He was built for the pendulum. It's like God gave Cus his human creation catalogue and told him to make someone and he designed Tyson. The most important aspect behind the physical specimen is how intelligent Mike is to be able to dedicate oneself to anything and reach the stratosphere like he did. You have to have both Braun and brains. I've also felt the most intimidating factor about Prime Tyson wasn't even Tyson, it was the man who trained him/created him. Mike Tyson living with Cus had perfect conditions for what the end goal was. Mike had Jim Jacobs endless fight films to watch and keep him distracted. Then you go downstairs and there's the yoda of boxing at the dinner table and here you are built like superman at 15. Cus made Mikes dream a reality and Mike did the same for Cus.

@@Bigfitz92 The woman who accused him falsely accused other men who all funnily enough were all super rich and she had a lot to gain. I mean he was prime mike tyson; he had pussy thrown at him. Regardless; even if it were true he's clearly a changed man focusing on family and positivity not calling people he's never met a cunt over the internet...just some food for thought

Each city that hosts builds a prostitute Hotel just for "professional Olympic whores". It would be messy if a gold medalist was caught the night before. So they remove issue.
