Mike Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005. He reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990 and was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles, as well as the only heavyweight to successively unify them. Claiming his first belt at 20 years, four months, and 22 days old, Tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title.
Roy Jones Jr. (born January 16, 1969) is an American-born former professional boxer, boxing commentator, boxing trainer, rapper, and actor who holds dual American and Russian citizenship. He competed in boxing from 1989 to 2018, and held multiple world championships in four weight classes, including titles at middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight, and is the only boxer in history to start his professional career at junior middleweight and go on to win a heavyweight title. As an amateur he represented the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in the junior middleweight division after one of the most controversial decisions in boxing history.
Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. is an upcoming exhibition boxing match contested between former undisputed heavyweight world champion, Mike Tyson, and former four-division world champion, Roy Jones Jr. The bout is scheduled to take place on November 28, 2020, at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The bout will be officially sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).

Love him or hate him, people need to understand how incredibly big the mountain is to climb to conquer your inner demons. People think killing yourself is the hardest point someone reaches in their life, that they can't take it anymore, no.. living through wanting to be dead every day, but never doing it, living through all of it, all the suffering, all the pain you've either caused or have had put upon you, or put yourself through and NOT killing yourself is the hardest thing out there. I know this, because that is me, I've been through it, I'm still going through it, I'm living it, and I'm still here. Mike has mine and so many people around the worlds respect, because they know, they can feel the pain and regret in mikes eyes and voice. it take an ungodly amount of strength to not "go through with it" I wish Mike all the best in this fight, and in life. I don't believe in God but I hope Cus is looking down on Mike today and is proud of how he survived all the madness in his life.

Rather, forgiveness from God is an act that shows lack of perfection from humans and perfection to God. Even a sinless man cannot be perfect, forgiveness for his human nature and his inability to be complete in all aspect. Man has always something to polish. Among the children of Adam even Jesus was forgetful.

Saying “begs the question” in place of “raises the question” is illiterate.

@@nodrip1 type 2x is fast twitch, and sometimes referred to as type 2b. These muscle fibers are responsible for powerful movements. These fibers can create large amounts of force but tire quickly. While type 1 are slow twitch, these muscle fibers are your 'always on' muscle fibers. They can resist fatigue for longer, but are not as strong. There is one other major grouping called type 2a, these are called intermediate fibers. When you exercise, these fibers are the ones that respond to training the most. In any muscle you are going to have a varying percentage of all types, with the muscle function as one of the largest factors. For example, spinal erector muscles will have more type 1 (slow twitch) then type 2x. But genetics play a huge factor in others, sprinters have larger ratios of type 2x then the average person. So choose your parents well.

When the talks of fighting again were starting, it was that whole extremely honest retirement quote from Tyson that went through my head too. I am surprised not many people are bringing up Jones though. If he catches Jones, who wasn't taking punches well ten yrs ago... maaaaan...that is the danger I think

Tyson and RJJ may be the savior of boxing.. -Mike is, and always will be my favorite hand to hand combat athlete of all time. Been following him since I was in the 5th grade. That year he beat Larry Holmes, and I read my 1st real book "Bad Intentions" by Mike Tyson After reading his book, I understood him. I became more than just a fan at that point. An enthusiast! I had facts that most people didn't know. I actually felt like that book gave me more strength, more motivation. I became the "go to" guy whenever there was a debate or, whenever someone had question(s) about Kid Dynamite. We had parties on the night Tyson fought. It was a tough time for Tyson fans as we watched his fall... everyone knew he was in bad shape once Don King started promo'ing him. Everyone seems to be overlooking another legend that will be returning & sharing a ring with Mike. Roy Jones Jr! A southpaw out of Pensacola, Florida. Roy Jones will be ready and willing to pick Tyson apart just like Evander did. Let's not get it twisted, i'm not predicting that will happen but, it certainly could. In all fairness, Mike was already on his decline when he fought Evander.. Mike won 90% of his fights before they where ever even fought. People where just petrified of him! DO NOT expect RJJ to be petrified is all i'm saying! 🥊🥇 #TRUMP2020 🇺🇸🗽

Seeing Mike fight again at this stage in his life is inspirational IMO. He's got his life & more importantly his mind/soul to the place he always desperately wanted. If he can use his new found serenity & self awareness to control that famous aggression, he could still beat anyone in the world.... Congrats Mike, your fans are all joyous that you've found the happiness you deserve!
