That was all done deliberately just to sell the fight. 2 mins of footage showing his upper body which was fine but in a boxing match Tyson's hip and legs are what generate his speed, movement and power. Without his legs he had nothing.

Its not worth killing the man. On Mikes end I think he was really just in his own head once he started getting tired. I don’t know why a tiny part of me was thinking it wasn’t going to be staged… if you have any experience with the sport, you can tell soooooo many times that Tyson pulled a lot of his punches (you catch him a couple of times stopping all a sudden with punches that would have easily landed), gave only maybe 5-7% of his total ability/power and the look on his face was as if he was bored and just trying to remember not to hurt the Paul brother. I’m happy for Tyson making a huge amount of money for only 16 minutes of role playing, but sad and disappointed that this was billed as a legitimate boxing match. *cue sad music and tiny Mr. Krabs playing tiny violin*

Only reason Mike didn't get knocked out was Jake took it easy on him. Mike had some power and he could kinda take a punch, it was just impossible for him to close distance to deliver shots.
