I'm 100% with Andy on this. You don't go to an event with your friends and just disappear without saying something. If you say, "Hey I'm going for a walk this way. Call me if you need something" that's fine but you also have to keep in mind how long you are taking. I would be worried if my friend left for an hour at an event and there was no word from them.

Roger def got the worst of it being left but Andy is 100% right. I can't really tell if Andy is actually upset or not but I wouldn't be surprised. If I was in his shoes I would be quite upset. Its on Mike to let them know where he's at and what he's doing, Andy & Roger were at the spot they knew where to come back to and Mike was just gone to who knows where. This is one of those conversations that made me upset for Andy & a bit uncomfortable as he seems really upset and I get where he is coming from. I did not find Mike defending himself funny or the rest of the guys (Kevin excluded) ganging up on him amusing. I'm sorry that happened to you andy & roger too.

Yea this got real and I feel for Andy (I'm more on team Andy to be clear) but they are both somewhat correct imo. I feel that overall communication could have been better and that you both did bail on Roger. However yea Andy you're right, Mike seems to be a bad friend in more ways than not as he really just does his own thing. Now tbf to him, I feel that's a very established trait at this point. But yea Andy I feel for you as someone who would also be upset if my friend ditched for a long time, but I just think you are different people and he's more outgoing and adventurous and that's ok. It seems he invited you both to the box so he did try but you have every right to be upset at being ditched. You also had every right to leave too but I don't think that's the move personally. Stick it out and see what happens and hang with Roger at the least.
