I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio of $450k dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

Nice Video, But the S&P 500, if one sticks with it, outpaces inflation by many percentage points. I personally don't care about the inflation. I just want my money to keep outgrowing the inflation rate. That is why I'm looking for companies now to put in $80k for a start. Just don't know how to proceed

Bank price targets and risk avoidance are not meant as advice for retail investors. Banks are leveraged, so they need to pay close attention to risk and to be cautious. Merryl Lynch went under due to not listening to its risk analysts. Morgan Stanley almost went under in 2008 due to not accurately assessing risk.

That would be the same Mike Wilson who predicted the 2022 downturn and the Oct23 inflection. In not predicting the 2024 bull market continuance he was then sidelined by MS. As it is based on no fundamentals, who but a permanent bull (TL) would have managed that? I’m in for the longer term

Say whatever you want to say about these guys but they are some of the most honest people on Wall Street. The reason they have been wrong for the last few years is their analysis is based on the rational behavior of the market participants and we all know that the markets have not been rational for a while

Healthy civilization is the sword and ploughshare; the nation-state requires both, as precursor for currency to even have real value. Economy is resources and labor (not cheap service-sector jobs, outsourcing, and fake money). Backing attached to gold or silver is essential for paper-money also, obviously. Closing thoughts, yeah, liberals don't know things like; electricity requires gasoline in order to be produced, communism has a 100% accuracy rate of devastation and ruin, all humans come from nature, and therefore Natural Law's have a very relevant set of patterns worth observing in order to strengthen ourselves and be grounded.

A Recession is always possible particularly with GOP. Every GOP President since Hoover has had a Recession ALL of THEM different weak excuse each time but ALWAYS a RECESSION ALWAYS. Don t inject disinfectant BTW !!!

Mike Wilson‘s well articulated view on economic and market macros is the most comprehensive and coherent delivery I have heard. Better than current WH/Fed/Treasury administration. He should be on US governance instead of some of current bozos.

Mike Wilson said he spends zero time thinking geo political? That is simply ridiculous. I am sure he has option hedges to protect any awful development with China. Flow of money, momentum and fiscal stimulus has taken SPY and QQQ lofty levels. Inelasticity up, inelasticity down.
