I've never heard so many references to haemorrhoids ( to honor the British spelling which honors the old French. Latin and Greek roots of the term) as on British Television. I have to say that my love of shows like this one is based on the freedom from the tight-assed American Soccer Mom mentality that polices humor based on the false idea that it will damage innocent children irrevocably.

In Britain we have a thing called the watershed - basically anything on TV after 9pm is uncensored and usually quite unsuitable for kids, and everyone knows this - so if you don't want your kids to be exposed to anything, just don't let them watch anything after the watershed.
