He has a relatively high pitched voice, he doesn’t smoke so there’s nothing to age him, and his haircut also makes him look young. His attitude is very naive and chaotic and full of energy too so he just seems a lot younger than he is. I also thought he was 24 or something. I'm so glad he shut that cardboard box in the best way possible. I was half-expecting him to do what Kerry did, but this is much more satisfying (and goes to show how much truth his stand up contains)

James' "Is that a Boulder" line is a reference to season 1 when Frank Skinner told a story about being on the bus with a fake boulder and someone asked him if he had a boulder or if it was a big rock

For me this series was one of the best, partially because of James and Rhod but also it was the first series they were all genuinely trying to put eachother back and gain extra points like they all actually wanted to win :')

I so very much over analysed "over my shoulder", I thought the getting colder part was refering to dying and the boulder was a reference to Sisyphus and the realization that this is all a never ending uphill battle even when you are cold in the grave

Of the three comedians I've seen performing live, James was by far the best. I even bought his book afterwards and he did signings after the show. really nice and cool dude.
