Really happy Zimmer is complete opposite of Quinn in terms of a scheme that promotes discipline, gap integrity, team defense, unselfishness. I just hope he has enough at interior Dline to make his style work. Also hope Diggs will have a good comeback from injury. If we are weak at DT and Diggs is slow to comeback and we are weak at CB1 I’m not sure how he’ll vastly be able to improve our D with limited resources. If we can sign another vet DT and Caelen Carson turns out to be a good CB then I will probably feel more comfortable. The Kneeland pick was great because I was hesitant about our Edge depth before too.

That may be true, but he was also one of the best defensive coordinators for us prior to taking the vikings job. As a HC with the vikings, they were a top 5 defense until a lot of their players got old...so I don't see your point with this particular hire.
