I bought the orange one when I was a kid, and it’s still in very good condition today. The “fake button” on the front houses a led light, which flashes when there’s a timer or alarm sound. If you hold the search bottom you can test it. If you hold the light bottom for three seconds, it activates the auto light, which lights up the display when you turn your wrist

this model is super cool . i once owned the black case/strap with Orange dial version but sold it for 100 singapore bucks to some guy who took it to Indonesia for resale to indonesian collectors willing to pay a premium

Back in 2015, I found same model Casio (just blue one) in second hand shop in pristine condition. Still wearing today. Very comfy watch, pretty neat design. Main thing for this g-8000 is world time zones. Covers all times zones in the world. Not sure how many, 25 or so. Changed battery 3 times by now.
