A QUICK FLATCAR LOAD

Built a flatcar load using a old spent rifle cartridge and thin wire for cables. DO NOT TRY THIS PROJECT IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO IDENTIFY A USED CARTRIDGE FROM A LIVE CARTRIDGE.

Great idea Mike. I often find myself going back to my roots with my train loads. Good old load of lumber or power poles…

That is a great idea, sir. You could probably saw the front off of something small, like a .22 LR casing, and stack a few to use as pipe sections. Did you need to do anything beyond soaking the casing in water to get the paint to stick? Sanding? Degreasing?
