This is amazing, but kind of reminds me of that one Black Mirror episode. I want to do this in my bedroom. Is it as simple as hooking up four projectors via quad display drivers? Is it really CPU intensive or could an average pc project continuously? Does it work with 360 degree vr videos on youtube?

you could do this with a basic tablet and a TH2GO and 3 projectors. Or if you wanted 4 walls, just a basic laptop running a stitching software and 4 projectors. This isn't actually amazing, its just normal footage projected along the walls, so there is no immersion. If you put these projectors side by side they'd show the one image stretched across. In this set up you look to your left and its just part of the front image lol. It should be sand and a view down the beach when looking left or right. Better off capturing this content with a 360 camera so you can actually get the immersion rather than one frame stretched across four walls which have been done for decades. or as you say, 360 youtube videos would work 10times better than this lame beach shot. you don't need a very powerful computer for this any more. I do it all on a macbook pro.

This room has such an odd seating layout, anyone sitting up would have light shining in their eyes... ooh, I get it now, this room isn't for sitting up, is it. ;)

The room is designed as a relaxation room and to give a surround visual experience, so you can sit or lay anywhere in the space. We create them in Schools and Centres to be used with other props to tell and experience 'multi-sensory stories' for people with specific learning needs. They are great for anyone to experience. Light shining in your eyes is not a problem, unless you deliberately look directly into the lenses.

@@Gonk i dont know i guess couse the hardware that is required to push 6 simontanius 4k projections & having 360 degrees of objects loaded in same time requires astonishing ammount of processing power and 6 really good projectios + very high costs to make a equaly simetrical perfect white squere room + requires a programer to make a special bending of a spherical projected image into 6 squeres that need to be projected this kind of project will require a entire team of people to pull it off
