I have the same Little Giant condensate pump and it ran continuously. Took apart the switch and found the spring tabs were in the notches in the plastic but the spring was not working due to some corrosion. Cleaned it up, listened to the switch make the noise when pushed up and down, so put it all back together and now the pump only runs when the switch turns it on. Thanks a lot for your video! Took all of 15min from start to finish!

Great video. My pump wouldn't stop either but the cause was a pluged exit valve that needed to be cleaned. So if the tank is full of water, I suggest folks testing the switch first to see if it turn on and off the pump before trying to fix or replace it. Of course that means some contacts would be live and you may want to use someting that is not conducive to play with the switch.

I have a pump that stayed on all the time and after looking at the switch it is bad. I'll replace it and see how that works. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!

The switch did the trick, this saved us a few $$ compared to replacing the entire pump and $$$$$ compared to hiring a professional!!!
