If you didn't catch it Zach, Saarthal was one of the first settlements on skyrim and was build by the nords after they left their homeland that was slowly becoming uninhabitable. But at some point the Elves, specifically the snow elves ransacked, pillaged and killed everyone in sarthaal except one man who went back, gathered a army and went on a massive campaign wiping out the snow elves. This was called the night of tears, when the elves attacked. The nords basically forced the snow elves into the servitude of the dwemer who... You know what they did. In this quest you learn that the elves attacked because of the eye of magnus believing the nords shouldn't have it, it was to dangerous ect. So yeah. The snow elves are backstabbing a holes who got turned inro the Falmer.

The snow elves believed the nord shouldn't have this relic and literally committed genocide wiping put all the population bar 1 man. So yeah. Being studied by people. Or commiting genocide because you think better. Yeah the nords are the bad guys

You know, it makes sense that this rotating symbol puzzle was so simple- Saarthal being the oldest Nord settlement in Skyrim, this was probably one of their first iterations of these locks. Probably took them a while to get more complex.

Also given that fact that in one of the books, it is stated that the puzzles are NOT made to stop intruders, but to stop draugr from escaping.

@19:50 I think the Orb was casting some kind of protection spell on the Draugr that had the Amulet, that's why he was glowing green. Tolfdir deactivated the Orb while you were trying to fight the Draugr. It was just a funny coincidence that you killed him when you switched to Bound Sword.

11:50 Dreams are boring to listen to? I had a dream that I was playing a Donkey Kong Country game, when I finished the level I was playing, Donkey Kong started laying on his back and laid an egg. It was in GRUESOME detail too, the music stopped and all you could hear was him struggling to lay this egg that's as big as him for like 2 minutes. And inside the egg was a full suit of mandalorian Beskar armor. that dream became a running joke in my friend group.

funnily enough in relevance to the "dwarves actually mine rocks in space" joke, there's a theory (or maybe it's an in-canon rumor?) that when the Dwemmer disappeared, they went to one of the twin moons, either Masser or Secunda but i forget which. i think there's more reputable theories and/or in-canon lore that they just fucked off into the plane that magic comes from or something. i dunno, i'm a Destiny lore nerd, not Elder Scrolls

In regard to Ice Ice Baby, to be fair it's sort of like a parody version, took the music to Under Pressure, added an extra note to "make it unique" then changed the words. Both are great songs, and if memory serves me correct, they did sue for it, but then instead of going to court, they settled it in private. Whatever they settled on he did end of giving writing credits to Queen afterwards.

One thing that I am surprised by is that you guys aren't playing on pc. On PC, there's a multiplayer mod called Skyrim Together that sorta functions. It functions in that it plays and everything syncs. But you do have to fight twice the bosses for 2 players, and 4 is a nightmare against any dragons.

People complain that the puzzles in the Nordic ruins are too easy and there's no way anyone would be stupid enough to make puzzles that bad. Here we see Mike and Zach struggle with one of these super easy puzzles. So to those complaining about bad level design, shut up, and never speak again. Obviously the ancient Nords knew what they were doing.

The implication of your summon cider (or milk) seems to assume cider (or milk) is already in your fridge. So, you still have to go buy it and put it in the fridge? Or when you cast summon cider (or milk) does it appear in your fridge just to float out of the fridge into your hand? Why not just cast "conjure cider" so it doesnt have to float from the firdge? Why would you go to the effort of buying cider and putting it in the fridge when you could just conjure cider?

Strength, brother. Life isn't always easy, but that's just part of the journey. Stay hydrated, and try to exercise a little bit every day. Even if it's just doing leg raises, assisted push-ups, or chest-pressing a gallon of water while you lay in bed watching television-I promise it adds up. Bonus points if you replace one thing you eat or drink with healthier versions, like low-fat or reduced-sodium snacks and lunch meats (for example) or drinking diet sodas instead of regular. Personally I really like Canada Dry Zero-no calories, sugar or sodium, but it still tastes almost exactly the same. I've lost a fair bit of weight and gained some muscle just by doing simple stuff like this. No crazy workout schedule, and no counting calories-just committing to being healthier a tiny bit at a time. 🤏🏻 Godspeed homie. You'll make it through if you want it bad enough.
