@@CoolCommentzRool it's doing great. Only thing that is annoying is the cat is not clean which is tripping the engine light but doesn't hurt performance. I was going to replace the exhaust system anyway so now I have an excusr

Unfortunately the Imprezas do not come standard with heated seats. That’s a part of the outback sport package you have there. The OBS package also has heated mirrors and and extra 1.5” of ground clearance

heated seats? is that really important or necessary?

it's not an inline, it's a boxer. I'm sorry, not trying to troll but that's a terrible review. not many features? it has hand stitched leather steering wheel, gear knob, seats are heated and unique to the Outback Sport, heated mirrors, auto-shade electronic rear view mirror w digital compass, comes with 17" alloy wheels as opposed to the 15" on both base model and WRX. optional dealer mud flap body kit package which is unique to the Outback Sport. so much left out.

Also, the generation is wrong. Gen 3 started in 2010. He should have done more homework.
@BoylenInk Жыл бұрын
3rd gen started in 2008 and looks quite different from the 1st and 2nd gen outback sports. The 2007 was the last year of the real Impreza outback sport - a sporty little station wagon. The 3rd gen is really a hatchback and Subaru should have dropped the trim name for 2008.

i am thinking of buying the 2009 version with 120k miles, a little worried about how long the car will last
@DrivenCompanion4 жыл бұрын
At 120K miles you should easily have at least another 100K of life left in it, assuming its been well maintained.
@seanokonsky50964 жыл бұрын
@@DrivenCompanion Thanks. The only repair that has been done is a new clutch assembly, so I imagine from what I have read that I will have to replace the head gasket, timing belt, and water pump sometime soon.

Depends on how you define better. The outback is larger and a bit more refined but the Impreza Outback is smaller and offers a more sporty drive.

Kieran Martin, For the car he is reviewing, they are correct. The 2008 model had 20 in the city and 27 on the highway, which is what he had. Newer versions of the Impreza did have improved mileage though
