nice, i am trying to export spiderman advance g8 m but the issue is when i import it cc4 it is showing me wrong setup error. i add the spiderman adv then add base g8 m drag all spiderman advance like mask lense and body suit.rename it genesis 8 male a ,b,c. then import it cc4 . it worked but the lense and head weight paint is not correct. i dont want the g8 base body but unable to delete it in cc4. i transfered the skin weight to lense but on nose point itis incorect i tried to smoth the weight paint but it show me some error even i cant open new porject in cc4 after this error so only option to closed the software and open again.

Do you have a link to the file (where you bought it)? I didn't know Daz had a Spiderman outfit (they usually stay away from proprietary stuff like that to avoid lawsuits). It would help if I could see the file (just the stats from where you bought it).

does this script only work if your daz content is on the C drive? Did all this, finally got pillow intalled into Character Creator which took some doing... ran the script and rather than looking for all the files where they belong, it looks for them on the C drive and doesn't find them... cause they aren't on the C drive, they are on the drive with my Daz stuff.

That's why you have the Dazconfig.cfg file in your Documents folder - that's where you specify where your Daz Content files are located. I've talked about this configuration file a number of times in various videos - if you can't find it look in the Python playlist where it will specify exactly how to create this file and edit it so you have your own files (my own Daz files are located on the H: drive, so my configuration file shows this). If you can't find the place where I talk about this let me know and I'll put a link or three here.

@@MikeDKelley If I might bug you for one last mote of expertise, any tips on how to make props export where they are parented at on the model? Conforming figures export pretty well but props like to detach and drop to the floor on export.

@@lenajohnson6179 I assume we are talking about importing via Transformer - when you get to the screen where you can choose what type of item it is make sure you choose it as a prop and not a clothing item - so a "holster" even though it's "worn" should still be marked as a prop. Once it's in and you are sure it's in the right place you can change it to clothing if you want any deformation (although you usually don't). If you have a problem with any other prop not coming in properly let me know what you are trying and I'll see if I can figure out what the problem is. Just give me the Daz page or name.

You can try doing this: pip install --upgrade pip wheel setuptools requests If that does not work then I wouldn't worry about it. You won't be able to install Pillow but the script will still work without it (at least my latest version, 5.5 - it won't do ALL it can do, but it will do most of what you need to do).

That's a Python compiled file, which is really weird as my script produces a script with the extension .ini The only thing I can think of is you don't have an output file directory specified in your Dazconfig.cfg file - do you have one?

Thanks for the share, Mike! Question , do you know any methods for applying Genesis 9 tattoos to CC4 characters? Skingen only has UV templates up to Genesis 8.1 right?

Did I not do a tutorial on this recently? I could have sworn I did - let me look. Okay, I didn't say "tattoos" specifically, but the procedure is EXACTLY the same as the one I did for wet and tanned characters (the only thing that differs is that you may use a different blend mode. @@TronikXR Don't use SkinGen - use my method (SkinGen is actually highly overrated and a PITA. I stopped using it years ago). I've been using Gen 9 tatts on a lot of my characters nowadays.
