Actially donjons are too easily destroyed imo and costly for tower rush. Their best moment is unit training. And serjants are training very fast

They have +3 against eagles and buildings (+2 for non-elite), and resist half of all bonus damage from the Sicilian civ bonus

Can someone explain to me, how does berserk beat serjeant? berserk: 18 att, 5 armor, 74 HP -> 11 dmg, needs 8 hits to kill serjeant serjeant: 15 att, 7 armor, 85 HP -> 10 dmg, needs 8 hits to kill berserk rate of fire: 2 for both of them So... what happens? Does regeneration have enough time to kick in?

Although it has fairly weak attack power, its armor makes up for it in a lot of situations. Plus they can build donjons to make more? Seems like a crazy unit for tower rushes! No scout is going to pick these guys off too easily like they would with most villagers.

Fairly weak attack power...untill you go into castle age and it transforms into a slightly weaker 2h swordsman at no cost. Attack goes 5->8, health 45->60 melee +1, pierce +2 Against a 2h 8 damage Vs 9 for the swordsman, insane power spike

@@AngDavies its pierce armor I think is its main selling point, it can just keep building while shrugging off attacks. They seem to also ignore being interrupted. That's some serious dedication when you are being stomped by a war elephant and refuse to stop building your donjon!

Sicilian Feudal Age tower rush is actually one of the worst. Early Castle Age it's more viable though.

i think the more unique feuture is that serjeant can be build in feudal age and building dojon, which is crazy this civ will be doing lots of tower rush and spamming serjeant in early game.

why do people keep saying it has low attack? 11 is only 1 less than a Two-Handed Swordsman, a Huscarl and a Cavalier, which all do decent damage. and with the 4/4 armor theyre so tanky that they take the same ranged damage as Elite Eagle Warriors, so sure you could kite them, but that would also mean you have to constantly babysit your units while the Sicilian player just patrols in.

I disagree, slingers should be safely behind a meat shield. Ranged units have low HP because they should be counterable by attacking them with strong melee units.

People’s favorite are equal population, then equal resources (Food = Gold), then total resources (100 Food = 17 Gold). I do all versions.
