I've had my 600 Pro for about two months now (EU version, living in Belgium) and I have to say I really like it, even though I (very superficial, I know) picked for its looks in the first place. On very steep inclines I would prefer the US 360 Watt-motor, maybe, because my street is a pretty big hill and even in PAS 3 I sometimes have to stand on my pedals. Having said that, I bought an e-bike for medical reasons (lost a lot of muscle power after some episodes in hospital), so maybe a more fit person can keep on sitting down. For those considering a Tenways bike: they are soooo silky smooth as far as the drivetrain goes, though the 600 Series are pretty stiff on rough roads. They have the CGO 800 with suspended front fork and a more upright riding position if you want more comfort. But that one has a step-through frame and I was not yet mentally ready to pick one of those - over here they are associated with elderly people and I'm only 42. They are not flawless - some of them have issues after delivery - but the support team is hyper responsive and very, very helpful and... wel, supportive ;) Would definitely recommend! A nice competitor is the Ampler Stout, but their nearest service point is 250 km from my home and that was a risk I wasn't willing to take in case something breaks. My Tenways service point is 12 k from me, so that's more comfortable.

What are the issues they have after sale please

@@kismo6167 A whole bunch of owners have reported issues with the freewheel (there was a faulty batch). My bike had an issue with the torque sensor - it would stop assisting halfway up a hill, pretty annoying. But as far as I can tell, the support team is very responsive and very helpful. My faulty torque sensor was replaced under warranty and within a week. It's pretty obvious I'm a happy customer so far, isn't it? ;)

How tall are you and which size did you get for the CGO600 Pro? I'm 1.78cm / 5'10" and am not sure which size to get between M and L. I'm kind of in between sizes, and i can't really test drive the bike where I live.

I bought the king 750 and it is amazing, costs less than this, tho I do only recommend it for food deliveries, or commute.

Yes a hill test! I'm looking at this for my commuter but the final leg is a bit of a beast of a hill. That said, at the moment I'm out of the saddle sweating my tits off, so with an extra 250W assist surely I'll manage without gears?

I’m 6 ft and it felt comfortable. I did adjust the stem upward a little and I personally like that better than flat.

Fyi, the neck strap for every kind of helmet needs to be tight. Otherwise the helmet will just fly off your head in a crash and you may as well not wear it at all.

i barely use assist lvl 3..1 is enough for most use. i always liked the pedal part of cycling and lvl 3 just accelerate you to the bikes top speed with zero input, great at red lights tho

The only true competitor to this IMO is the Velotric Thunder 1

Yeah I’m really stuck between the 2 and can’t seem to pull the trigger. Velotric does seem to have some better anti theft/tracking. Which is very high where I live unfortunately.

@@whaws if it helps ALL the reviews I’ve seen about the Velotric (which is too many) have all been very positive. If it helps you at all but IMO if you are in a flatter area the Tenways single gear ⚙️ is great IF you have hills you’ll want the Velotric
