Usually we (LEOs) get dispatched to a man with a gun or shooting call. The beginning of the call for service with the radio traffic from dispatch sets your mind in motion, and you start planning and mentally rehearsing your response as you drive to the scene. I’m a retired officer and most people have no idea how hard it it what he did. He changed two mindset of being cop friendly talking to kids, hearing gun shots and changing mindsets to being a executioner. In full uniform wearing duty boots, work cargo pants which are heavy, gun belt, and vest which all weighs about 25-30 pds. Running in full gear with a rifle trying to find a shooter with no backup, then identifying the shooter and making clear shots under the amount of adrenaline going through him is on a another level. Just amazing I’m sorry for the families who was shot.

@@Don-mi6zl I disagree sir ! Officers do this and many other things you will never hear of daily to save lives. It is the norm, not the exception. The times we live and the liberal left and their croamies in the news media have vilified them for many years so that you and many others have this attitude toward them. Maybe 3% of Officers are actually doing harm. Just one example is amplified. In the case of Floyyd, he died of a Fentanyl overdose at last reading. The Officer should not have been a cop as he had multiple violations prior but, he paid for his crimes. Unfortunately it gives the entire community the bad publicity that destroys the public trust as evident by your comment.

I don't know if you've been in this type of situation (I'm guessing not as not many have) but his heavy breathing is almost entirely due to the explosion of adrenaline flowing through his body. It causes your breathing to become very intensive and can almost make you feel "weak" because everything in your body is feeling the effects of intense adrenaline. Adrenaline comes as a sudden burst and it itself can cause you to feel "gassed".

This Officer is definitely a hero. He never stopped moving and searching for the suspect or suspects. This officer has received training from somewhere and if it's from Allen PD my hats off to those who provided him with these life saving skills! You've made your brothers and sisters in blue very proud.

The COPS needed this one badly. Too many videos of poorly trained cops are making headlines. His body cams starts off with him mentoring kids! Then the chaos kicks him into action. Great breakdown and salute to the officer.

The officer did amazing! Often times what happens on the battlefield is dictated long before the battle, good on the officer for having some solid training under his belt and dispatching that coward. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and there tribes.

@@kennywise237 Despite not being vastly over compensated to provide this minimal service I carry and am not so obscenely out of shape that I would be sucking wind briskly walking toward a shooter. Btw & the only reason these victims were so easily picked off by the shooter is police like this gleefully enforce gun free zones set up by leftists like this mall management. I truly do appreciate this cop doing the minimum as it far more than the welfare class in blue has demonstrated in the past. I do appreciate your straw man argument and hope you rely on the police to protect you. You could be useful to society when that plan comes to it's foreseeable end.

@@Don-mi6zl Sure, you may say that the cop is doing the bare minimum because protecting and serving comes with the job description but that bare minimum is still a difficult task. And people doing difficult and dangerous tasks that most people wouldn't otherwise want to do should be commended and rewarded.
@Don-mi6zl
@Don-mi6zl Жыл бұрын
@@cuppa_joe Have to disagree. An average concealed carrier would have done better than the out of shape welfare recipient in blue costume had it not been for the leftists who run the mall barring their presence. Police have a job that takes no competence, minimal training and is about 1/3 as deadly as a garbage man's. They get celebrated when they do the minimum like this officer and have no consequences when they keep out medics as children bleed out like the recently acquitted model officer Broward coward.

I love the critiques, Mike. You aren't putting the officer down, just showing important changes that could have been done and why. There are plenty of gun-carrying civilians and officers who watch this channel who haven't been in this situation yet. This provides helpful knowledge and guidance on how to train and react to a mass shooter crisis.

Not all heroes wear capes! One second he is being a role model to kids and the next second he is clocking in and going to work! Consider the amount of running and walking he had to do just to be able to acquire his target, all the while his adrenaline is dumping into his body, and then he still manages to get shots on target at 50 + yards and take him out is just incredible. They better name a street after this LEO!
