You made this video quite some time ago but I am curious -- is there a reason why you didn't just snap the newly created cube's vertices to the grid, preferring instead to fiddle with the pivot point and scale until you eyeballed it to the grid?

+Mike Hermes yes done..ur superb..!! can u tell me which material attri i should use to give metal effect? like in chairs, i want to give the supports a metal effect and after selecting the material what all changes should i do?? the second problem im facing is that, when i was giving ply effects unfortunately all surround background also got that effect..i swear i did not select the surrounding..how to get it back to normal.i tried a lot... plzz do help me with this two problems..

For metal you can use the MIA-Material_x as well. Use preset chrome and then tweak the attributes to make it more or less reflective. As for the surround it could be that you have all objects combined. When you change the material on one, all change
