Been on the market for a while now. Why has it not taken the industry by storm yet? I've only seen it used a handful of times by manufacturers of refrigeration products. It seems like it should be the way to go for large scale production where time is money but yet it don't see it being used by manufacturers on a wide scale. Why? It can't be the cost because time savings on the assembly line more then make up for the crazy price of the product. I believe it has to do with long term reliability against leaks. The liquid used to seal the joints will eventually dry out and crack from expansion and contraction cycles imo. I'll stick with what has worked for a hundred years now. When I see a refrigerator that is 50 years old and still humming away perfectly on the lokring system, I will change my mind. Maybe. BTW, look at the size of that tool. Must be a nightmare in tight places

Its not required for R600….you just need to purge with nitrogen for 2-3 min , then you can braze like usual .Its s waste of money …if they had a properly designed press tool it would be better ….the press tool sucks
