hi! just checking in on you guys! here's more trucking mistakes to avoid your FIRST year trucking! -don't arrive at ANY shipper/receiver "bobtail" without permission from dispatch! -ALWAYS have an empty trailer! (take it home if you have too!) -make eye contact with locking jaw! -GET A LOVES REWARD CARD immediately! & use it EACH time you fuel! (this is for free showers, drinks, and food credits!) -don't start your DOT clock too early (wait until the full 10 hours is completed before moving your truck!) -BE SURE TO actually PRE-TRIP your truck! -it's always better to grocery shop! -move around and exercise ANY chance you get. -don't drive upset. --DO NOT TEXT AND DRIVE! (the TEXT can wait! MAKE THEM CALL YOU, and USE your headset!) if any of my other truckers would like to add anything? feel free to do so under this comment! i hope this helps! ♥
