I don't think that's really relevant to this video, when the video states very early, I'm discussing the tactics from Odegaard's return. From that time, we won't be 13th. Our xG from 5 games this video is about (1.5) (1.2) (4.0) (3.5) (2.1). Penalties included but that isn't a sign of bad open play football. Corners, yes. A bit part. But you don't get 13 corners in a game without attacking or somewhat opening up defences. Today, had we scored our open play chances, the tactics are fine.

Hey man, great video Would love to see your take on Villa's tactics this season, results haven't been as good but our xG and xGA numbers are pretty dramatically up on the second half of last season and there is a clear shift towards a slightly more transitional game that's pretty distinct from our successful season last year. That said you are an Arsenal fan so wouldn't blame you for wanting to stay as far away from our Unai as possible 🤣 keep up the good work.

Dont u think using odegaard as a roaming playmaker would be more accurate

I do, but you get a lot less right side movement/rotations. When building, playmakers are attracted to the ball so a lot of the time, instead of drifting towards the right, he'd drift towards the ball so more difficult to get the right side link up. But RPM would be more accurate to his actual role. I just compromised for the right side patterns

Teams going to start recruiting with set-pieces in mind haha At this point, I think once you score a few, you drive fear into the opposition each time you win a corner. Today's corner goal, Fulham defended dreadfully
