We had a lot of fun with this project and are very happy with the results. Please keep in mind that Jokabi and I worked on this EP in equal amounts and he should be receiving the same recognition for his amazing work. Stay tuned for news on the vinyl release we’re currently working on!

I watched Nausicaa for the first time last summer. Everytime the requiem played in the movie I couldn't help but give it my undivided attention, and then promptly requested that my producer friends make a bassy cover of it. This album fulfilled this request and so much more. Thank you both!!!

You are one of my favorite producers and inspirations in music production. I also love ghibli so i was so excited when i saw this.

Sometimes I am afraid to listen to lofi remixes of certain songs, especially these sorts of songs, because often times the remixes have a modern, spazzy vibe that I feel is very disrespectful to the original. That is NOT the case with this album! Each remix perfectly reimagines the original song in the chill lofi theme, and adds a lot of character through the instrumentation and rearrangement. You can tell Mikel and Jokabi have a lot of respect for Joe Hisaishi and the Ghibli movies (as well as a ton of skill) by the amount of effort and quality in this mix. This is definitely going in my best lofi playlist. Please, keep up the excellent work!
