0:55 this is the greatest mistake Liu Kang made right here, he falsely considered Raiden an enemy because of what happened and attacked him for it, which got Liu Kang killed. So his death Changed him for the worst, Raiden didn’t know it yet. Maybe Kronika is responsible for pitting them both against each other.

@drewhutchison3115 What I think bro , LiuKang was really unaware about what Raiden was thinking He saw KungLao die in front of his eyes, He saw Kitana die on his hands and Raiden didn't answer anything to these neither did he had a plan except for saying I need to visit Quanchi in NetherRealm or need to consult with Elder God. He should've properly explained to LiuKang , about what he was thinking to do and how to tackle Shao Kahn. Probably that would've helped LiuKang but the way / the emotion lLiuKang was having, it was very difficult to control him at that point. And the same mistake Raiden did too, he could've controlled his lighting as well.

MK9 Shao Khan is Present Shao Khan in The Alternate Timeline/Pre Aftermath Timeline but however Past Shao Khan who came into the present and faced off against Kotal Khan and Kitana in The Pre Aftermath Timeline was so epic. But however seeing him lose against Kotal and Kitana and then later on Shang Tsung in the Aftermath Timeline is epic too.
