You should make some corner plates and weld it to the chassis, it’ll stiffen it up a bit 😅 I’ve been fabricating for over 20 years and I would’ve used a bit heavier box section 😅 awesome work on getting everything spot on though

I had a dream to build one since my early years. Fell in love with the Evo since I watched Initial D. It is a very rare car, even a base model BUT....I have finally found it. Going to pick it up next thursday. Its a 1998 Lancer that can be converted into Evo 4. Im so excited. Thank you for the awesone journey and inspiration!

The preview already shocked me with the LEGENDARY CA18DET! I swapped mine for a SR20det. It was a pretty reliable engine, but it's so old! I am curious about the transmission tunnel! 'Fresh' idea for a swap!

only thing i hate about this build is where you have the fuel cell it wud look alot tidy if u cut the flooring to the back of the car out and make bracket/strap to make the fuel cell sit lower like jimmy did to the civic and connect the original fuel filler to the cell so wud look more oem and sleeper

BRUH... You lost me at CA18DET... 🤣 Why on earth would you use one of the crappiest Nissan engines ever made in this build? So many other options other than CA18DET available... SR20DET, etc, even a K20 or K24 RWD setup. Great work though bro.

@@itsmikelake Until the gremlins come. Hahahaha. Here in South Africa, the CA18DET is the first thing to go when we buy S13s. Most people prefer SR20DETs, but if it works (which it definitely seems to be doing), enjoy it. Like you said, you've future proofed it for a SR swap. If it ain't broken, don't fix it, and drive it like you stole it. Cheers bro.
