I remember being 6 yrs old, riding on the back of a drill while my dad was sowing wheat. It was 1980 and since we didn't have packers,I stood on the platform behind the hoppers. In Ga I've very seldom seen a mult-drill being used. In the early 80' I remember him finding the center of the field,so he could start bottom plowing on that line. We had non-flipping /standard plow,so you started in the center and worked out to the edges. I helped with harvest on a wheat farm in Byers Colorado in 1999,they were sowing with 60 ft drills like yours with green Steigers. Good memories!

Get a video of him telling us how the farm started and what it took to grow it to the operation it is now. Have him talk about the years gone by and history of the area. You will be glad you did and be able to pass it on. I didn't get that done with my Dad before he passed and at 62 years of age I still miss my parents and regret I didnt talk about the past with them. Really like your videos !!

Hello Mike, I was very happy to see your Dad Bob there with you, he looks a great fellow, I loved the smile on his face when he told you he could get more done with the discs in a day than your with the Air Seeders, remember its great to have your Elders with you as they have many more years experience, I noticed you didn't remember some things about the disc seeders Dad just came out straight with the answers, that's why the longer you have your Elders the more you will get knowledge passed down, Iike I said before ,The video you make now with the Massey Ferguson seeders will not only help younger people, but will help any one to seed with discs, Great video and thank you Mike you are showing maturity, and showing good example for younger people in Agriculture, Bless you & your Family Good Stuff Cheers Trevor.W.Bacelli.
