I know you said that you really like the Airpods Max, but it was interesting to hear about all the features that they're missing. Then you said that those missing features weren't that big of a deal. I completely disagree! In my opinion, a set of headphones costing $550 should have ALL the features! Not only are they missing features like a power button, a protective case, and a conversation awareness mode, but Apple didn't bother to fix those issues with the "new" ones. That's inexcusable in my book.

I returned my Airpods 4 in the same day that I received cause of the fit, keeps falling out and gotta adjust it every 20 sec, silicone might work for me and I’d go for the pros next!

Do you typically wear 2 or 3 or the pros?? I had the 3s and they felt big in my ear the AirPod 2s are far more comfortable. The pros go in your ears and I’m not really a fan of that. I’ve never owned pros but have had the Amazon echo buds and didn’t like in ear

I just watched a video about turning them slightly when you put them in. Changed it to a perfect fit from me. Coming from an AirPod 2 user (BEST FIT OF ALL TIME)

I have the AirPod 2 pros, and what I do when I’m listening to music is I have it on transparency mode and on my phone setting, the EQ is set at loudness which brings out a little bit more bass. the transparency mode it gets rid of that slight muffled sound that you get when it’s not on so it just sounds so much better personally.

@@aadayanaaaa I see. the 4s are definitely bigger than the 2s. I would say try them and just return them if you don’t like them. It’s a great time because you can take advantage of holiday return policies. Returning them if they don’t fit is a legitimate reason to return.

Hi Mike. I also had issues with fit for my AirPod Pro in my left ear. I tried the wing tips but it’s a hassle to always take them off when charging in the case so I searched for a better solution. I bought the foam masters aftermarket silicon tips and not only did it fix my fit issue, it also greatly improved the ANC. Give it a try and I think you’ll be surprised at how well they work. Keep up the great content!

Hi Mike, I greatly appreciate your candid review and comments. I’ve tried numerous earbuds; AirPods (gen 2 w/anc, pros) Bose earbuds, beats, and Sony; unfortunately they all kept slipping out of one of my ears. Except for the Bose Ultra Open earbuds. After watching your first review, I gave the AirPods Gen 4 with ANC. They are a lot more comfortable than the Pros and the Max. I like the pinch control better than the touch control; everything I had to reinstall or refit them into my ear I would change something. This video just basically confirms what I thought about my AirPods. Bottom line - thanks for information.

i have the base model airpod 4s and they are great, they fit very well and don’t come out too much so if you want a nice fit then get the anc airpod 4s. I personally didn’t need ANC so i went with the base model

Great review. If an Apple customer, this lineup gives the best bang for the buck at every price level. The Max could do with an update, but I would not be surprised if Apple adds a higher end version next year. Bang & Olufsen have just raised the game to $1,500 at the high end and Vision Pro adds an all new gateway for higher end headphones. For everyday use, the Max could be updated with better mics, weather resistance and a lighter design. What do you think?

lmaoo that is why we have different products which has basically the same functionality. Not everyone has the same issues. I can’t wear the silicon tip aipods, mainly the pro 2 cause it causes infection and discomfort in my ear. At the same time I can wear the aipods 4 without any problems as it doesn’t have ear tip. So I bought them and I am happy. The fact that you think because you have headaches wearing them and so all those other who is wearing them also should have head ache and they are wearing it bearing the headache just because it is apple is monumentally arrogant…

Absolutely none whatsoever. All they changed was the color and the charging port (lightning to usbc) so if you don’t care for that go for the originals, the color updates aren’t that much better. If I were you though I’d wait a bit longer for an actually good pair of maxes.

as a user of jabra 65t that been 5 years, i need to look another earphone because the battery seems to be degraded. And airpods 4 anc satisfied me, the anc working so well, the quality of sound is good. overall sound quality, the detail its still better in jabra, but using ap4 is more comfortable because there is no seal, using it for hours doesn't make my ear feel sore.

i had airpods pro 2 pretty happy with them , but right one suddenly start to crazy noise like sadako shouting... i got xm5 sony but after 5 min gave me dizzyness.... seems 2 hours more battery and better noise cancel but kill my brain... so im thinking to get again airpods pro 2... i heard some people said pro 4 also give dizzy? and fitting problems? better go for pro 2 again? and 4 is better noise cancel than 2? i heard 2 is better because those silicone buds...

The Skullcandy Crusher ANC 1 had the best transparency mode I have tried in any headphone before the Airpods Max came out, when the Crusher ANC 2 came out, the Transparency sound dissapointed me.

AirPods Max battery life is good. It’s 20 continuous hours. I can get through the day without hearing daylight traffic noise. I can wear them while they’re charging. They’re comfortable to sleep with. I don’t like earbuds because they die during the day. It’s annoying to wait for earbuds to charge while being tortured by traffic noise.
