Any last years flagship should do better than this phone in every aspect except 10-15% on processor which is completely unnoticeable in everyday use anyways and has been for the past 2 years. The hardcore gamers have gaming phones, fast charging doesn’t do the worlds difference just cause it fully charges 10 minutes earlier. Im not sure who oneplus is targeting with this phone at this price point but on my opinion they have completely missed the mark.

I still use a OnePlus 6t and to me it sounds like the 10t hits the exact same spot the 6t did on release. Peak performence, good software and fast charging at a lower price than flagships mainly at the cost of the camera. I've heard a lot of bad things about 1+ and their newer phones and didn't think to upgrade to another 1+ but the 10t makes me rethink that.

I know right.... I agree... I'm using a 6T too and looking for a change.. and this phone gives the exact same vibe that 6t had given when it launched.... The only sad thing is the alert slider but since there are no good phones in this price range (excluding samsung or other Vivo oppo realme phones) i m thinking to go for it...

Watching on a Oneplus 10t. I absolutely love it, for gaming I'm running 90fps on Call of Duty mobile, it doesn't get hot at all, runs butter smooth. Charging is mind blowing, speakers are excellent, camera is good enough.. I promise it's good enough, haptics are amazing, over all I say it's easily a top pick at an excellent price in 2023, I paid 400. Super happy!

Yeah, there's nothing bad really. I can say about the 10t since i've had it. To each its own, but a lot of petty gripes about this phone is really unreasonable like not having a alert slider and the camera's not being that good. If you point a shoot, you really can't tell a difference but yeah, if you play with manual mode. Pro Mode all these other features. Of course, every camera is not gonna be the same. Out of all the phones it's that I use 10T Performs exceptionally well and i'm talking Is Galaxy S21 ultra, pixel 6, note 20 ultra, Oh, and you can recharge your phone in twenty five minutes from 0 to 100 percent thats unbeatable. I'm telling you other phone manufacturers need to get more recognition and respect. It's always samsung, apple, google, Then behind that motorola And one plus. Motorola at one plus make exceptional devices

I cracked the screen on my OP 6T yesterday. I loved that phone though the screen was getting a bit dimm, probably because of its age. In holland OP has up to 250euro cashback (200+30euro for a slightly damaged 6T) for trading in my old 6T. So that convinced me, 470euro for the 10T, 128GB seems a no brainer. Also fast charging is more important for me than telecamera or slider. So many times I left home in hurry with a too low battery...now can quickly top up the battery in just a few min...

Omg yes, I'm glad someone else is thinking the same as me. The amount of memory and storage is insane for the price; my jaw was on the floor when I went to OP website and saw the specs for this price. That plus the fast charging alone make me want this as my next phone. As Mike mentioned, I don't really use my camera except for still pics so I'm not worried about that. I couldn't care less about the alert slider, I always keep my phone on vibrate & have a smartwatch that'll notify me. So many people up in here saying RIP OP because they removed the alert slider...like are y'all okay? We're out here paying for $1,100+ smartphones that still comes with 128GB base storage, and if you get a higher tier the OnePlus 10T is legit half the price.

I will own a 10t in a couple of years or a year I tried to save up the $650 but inflation and my state stoping extra snap benefits I'm still using my 7t what do you think the price of the 10t will be a year or two from now my guess around $250 -300 max for a refurbished model. As for the people who say the camera is shitty I don't be buy a phone for a camera I go buy a camera to be honest I don't even buy a phone for the phone I buy a phone for performance gaming , and web surfing only about 10% of my phone use is talking or texting I don't get wifi to buy a computer plus I'm in a rural area oh one more thing don't re spond to the person saying you won something it's a scam

Iphones have no such switch that everybody on the oneplus seems to be in need of. It doesn’t keep the fanboys to spend 1000€ upwards to buy apple smartphones…Even without this switch the oneplus is a very affordable phone, compared to the premium prices of aforementioned flagships.

Fast charging over alert slider is a hard choice but considering how much I play demanding games the charging is a must. I keep my phone on vibrate anyways so I rarely change it but to be able to top off before I leave after a gaming session is great

Some people hark on the price but u have to also consider, THE CHARGER IS INCLUDED!!! And that brick puts some real juice into the phone. I charged it for 2 minutes and it upped 20%. And it has pd which means I can charge my workstation laptop with it just fine. That alone makes it worth it considering that quality of charger can be 50 bucks or more depending on the quality and theirs is good quality

Been using this since a month after upgrading from a OP 7T. No issues whatsoever and I am actually glad to have bought it. As far as the camera goes, I haven't really tried clicking much under various settings/scenarios, however, my 7T used to deliver really nice pictures and thus, I am confident that the 10T will surpass it by some margin at least.

Same here upgraded from a 7t to the 10t (though I did have a 9 for a while before it broke) and camera is middle of the road for 7t as well as 10t. The base 9 was more of a camera upgrade over the 7t and took better pictures, the 10t was a downgrade after the 9. Between the 7 and 10 I didn't notice to much of a difference

I am so glad that they are getting back to their roots but as you said camera on this thing is great but why can't I make a big purchase like s22 , they both have good specs previously i only prioritised gaming specs on phone but nowadays every flagship has similar specs and OnePlus i think only has a charging advantage big is it really worth it for a mid camera experience i don't think so plus i would love to see a vid on new UI of one plus i think there was controversies regarding oxygen os is in it's precious flagship which mkbhd told I don't remember it but that was the major reason for me not to get a one plus phone Just saw a comment for smart watch but i would much rather prefer this phone and you trip vlog vid you know the sponsored vlog where you tested a camera that was a amazing vid i think i am not that big of a smart watch enthusiast that's why i prefer this but i looking to buy a smar watch so yeah don't stop with the content , also earbuds and head phones are some tech that i love to watch you for . The software is definitely really bad. Just because they reduced the prices doesn't mean it's going back to its roots. It lost its identity when it removed its marketing capabilities such as warp charge, the alert slider and typical oxygen OS. These are what set it apart from the rest.

I have the s22 and the battery is horrible. A little better camera does NOT make up for how bad the battery is. I miss my OnePlus 10 pro. The battery was great even using 5g. This s22 even thinks about using 5g and it runs stupid hot and the battery? Forget about it.

I' ll wait for JerryRig review, to see how easily this plastic thing can break. I watch this video on a OnePlus 8 Pro (third OnePlus device for me - OnePlus 3, OnePlus 5), and don't consider to continue with the same brand. Okay. Main problem with OnePlus is that they don't believe in themselves and their ideas. Slider alert. Selfie camera of OnePlus 7 Pro. Hasselblad collab. Amazing SW from the past - now became a problematic SW of Oppo. And so on. They were providing their own wireless chargers and 2 years later they provide phones with no such an option. No more OnePlus. From an honest fan of the past PS. 2:00 In OnePlus 8 Pro, their fingerprint sensor was in an amazing position, and I love it

I have a nord 2, 65W charger 0-100 in about half an hour. Also 50mpx ois main cam, cpu iz very good, 8/128 ram, 90Hz refresh. SO, its not a worthy upgrade for 350+ dollars, I think. Why the faster cpu, for gamers maybe, wht else?! Also, 90 or 120 Hz, not that big a difference. Honestly, mid range phones like the nord 2 have become so good, that these new differences, do not justify the increase in price. In my humble opinion. Oh, and I love the switch on the right for ring/vibrate/silent :).

I don't think alert slider would make a phone a flagship killer. Flagship killer is having a great specs for affordable price which is just like a oneplus from before which is what oneplus 10T is doing now. Wireless charging is not a big deal either much rather have bigger battery than a wireless charging I mean majority of people don't even use wireless charging because there is no way any wireless charger would be faster than a wired charger.

Ok. I've used OnePlus phones DINCE THE ONE. The 3 was my favorite, but later editions... not that much. However, the Pro editions were not so great. The 9 Pro was OK, but heated a lot a battery was not that great. Then the 10 T came to my collection and... Very good! Weak points are the wide-angle camera and no telephoto. ALL other characteristics are top-notch! Battery, main lens, speed, screen, charging time, you name it. So... My new main set (consider also Samsung level software updates period).

Now that One Plus 10 Pro has dropped to $799 it is a better value for $150 more. Higher Res Display. Much Better Camera. And the Slider Alert gone on 10T. Also you lose Wireless Charge as well.. That is a lot to give up for $150.00.

The higher res screen is kind of a scam tho. Im rocking 9 pro and I never have it on the highest res... it looks pretty much identical on the lower one with better battery performance as a result.

Also may be in the minority here, but I didn't care for the alert slider, so not having it doesn't bother me. I always have my phone on vibrate and if for some reason I need it on ringer, it's a simple swipe down and pressing the sound toggle button. Super easy still. Sure the slider is cool and a unique feature of OnePlus, but I just never used it

It lost me at in screen fingerprint reader. I still don't know why it can't be on the back as a much more reliable capacitive reader... I surely love my fingerprint reader being 89% accurate vs 99% on the capacitive. NOT! The design doesn't bother me in the least. Nor did it bother anyone else. But, we apparently needed to change it... Yes, we all clammored for in screen fingerprint readers. But we also assumed they would work just as effectively as a capacitive reader. They don't. When you unlock your phone a couple hundred times a day it adds up.

Watched this vid before and will watch again. But would like to point out that. I have the T and the Pro and the Hasselblad camera on the Pro makes not very much a difference in quality for the average person. Technofiles aren't people and what they think doesn' count. Seriously. 90+% of the world population gives a rats ass about all the BS they harp on about. A large majority still are perfectly fine with their iP7 and 8. And if so many people are perfectly fine with 6&7 year old phones, which are perfectly unacceptable to nearly all technofiles, why should we care. Another thing is looks. It took a long time for the three lens apple camera set up to grow on me. The 10T/Pro is what I've always thought the apple phones should look like. Love the look of the T/Pro phones, almost without exception all other android phones look like dog shiet. And if the mockups of the 11 are accurate it will be a looker as well. All that said. Android is still not as stable as iOS.

Not even close to the flagship killer they once where, the cameras are far from good at best mediocre. They removed their identity i.e the alert slider, like what good is that then. Just sad what once was a threat for every phone manufacturing giant, is now just one of the other companies. Just sad what the seek for profits have come to. And also after a decent amount of wattage in charging its all diminishing returns, honestly 50 Watts or less is perfect good but they decided to take away the alert slide which has an actual use irl to give 150w super charging to gain what 2mins in full charge time on an already short half an hour charging? Like what were they thinking when they smoked up that cheap ass crack

I don't think alert slider would make a phone a flagship killer. Flagship killer is having a great specs for affordable price which is just like a oneplus from before which is what oneplus 10T is doing now.

The camera ok the only thing missing is the telephoto and that hasselblad but for the price that you can get it is ok. Snapdragon 8 plus gen 1 with 150wats charger that is included in the box. Which a lot of companies is already removing.

I charge once every night. What does it matter whether it takes 20 or 30 minutes? The slider I use multiple times a day. That together with slowing down the updates is a real bummer.

There's an app to toggle notifications by cug apps. Not convenient enough like physical button but easier then stock android.
