Its a solid truck that 90% of daily drivers need. I use my Ridgeline as a truck 4 days a week and its everything I need!

Excellent review, with a level of depth, detail, and professionalism you just don’t see everyday. Last year, I chose to go with a ‘23 Ridgeline B/E for our new business vehicle and couldn’t be happier with it. It’s a ‘jack of all trades’ pickup truck. Keep up the great work

After much research I ended up getting a 23 Ridgeline RTL at a decent price below MSRP. I never considered a Honda before. Now into a year of ownership I have no regrets, perfect vehicle for my needs and I'm also averaging 22 - 24 MPG with the V6.

I've owned over 25 new cars over the years of all makes and models (including trucks). I've never owned a Honda although I've tried to purchase one several times over the years. Between the dealers adding huge markups and loading them down with accessories that I didn't want, I never went through with a purchase.

I own a 2023 RTL and absolutely love it, it is 99% of what most people need. I’ve had F-150’s, 250’s and Silverados and this is my favorite vehicle. Unfortunately people measure their member by how big their truck is, mmmmm looks like they may have issues, not judging just saying ???

I have a 24 BE Sonic Grey and its a good truck no doubt.. the engine, ride comfort , its quiet, interior space , awd system, dual action tail gate, in bed trunk all good things BUT at an MSRP of 48,200 for black edition sonic gray they really half ass it on some options that are like budget minded features.. i feel other trucks/suv execute these way better.. Adaptive cruise is not stop and go it wont work below 25 mph. blind spot monitoring does not work below 20mph so you better be careful on your slow merges.. there are no front center parking sensors, they are only in the front corners so antyhing more centered it wont detect.. it wont detect a parking pole and in my case i have a tandem parking spot and it wont detect my other car when i pull up to it yes seriously.. the vented seats are too weak even on high feel like its barley working.. the vented seats in my grand cherokee work way better.. why no 360 or front cam option? also only way to turn on reverse cam is the truck must be in reverse.. why no quick look view so i can quick check that all is good in my tow hitch setup .. why no hill descent control? its in a crv but not a ridgeline ,, why? and finally the bed is pretty shallow if you put a tonneau cover on you only have 16 inches of height which is really restrictive in useability. hoping the next gen ridgeline has better execution on its options/features..

7:50 we know you meant 5000 lb. Last month I bought a 2024 trail sport, my fourth Ridgeline. My first was the original in March 2005, released as a 2006 model. I’ve driven nothing but Ridgeline since 2005. Each one seems a significant improvement over the other. I often chuckle at comments to these reviews where people driving other brands seem to ignore 90% of the compelling Ridgeline features to find some detail that they think favors another brand. It almost always relates to offroad since for everyday use and highway driving Ridgeline is so far superior. As a professional forester and timberland real estate broker, Ridgelines have taken me deep into every forestland track and brought me out safely for 19 years. Ridgeline owners seem content to be happy with their trucks and let others do what they choose. Others seem to be obsessed with watching ridgeline reviews and trying to find some arcane detail suggesting their truck may be superior to Ridgeline. I laugh. Personally, from my original Ridgeline I was so hooked on the trunk that any truck without one is of no interest to me now. When detractors seem to dismiss Ridgelines because of some silliness like bed height being 4 inches less, I ask what they store in their trunk. Silence. I am content being able to haul full 4 x 8 sheets of plywood in the bed of my Ridgeline.

Thanks so much for sharing this review That's a very good back seat setup, flip up and latch, without any clumsy strap Toyota Hilux's back seat isn't as user friendly, quite the opposite. I think it's similar to the tacoma's back seat mechanism. with straps and buttons, not very secure , and impossible to flip up and lock/latch single-handedly 😔 Hilux's back seat is even worse than Tacoma's, the back rest doesn't flip down so the space behind it isn't accessible. It's a very lazy (or dumb?) design

It’s a city truck which is what 90% of truck buyers need. Ford and Hyundai have copied them, except this still has the best specs of the 3, plus Honda reliability.

Just say May sales numbers for the 2024 Ridgeline - only 1712 sold! Normal months were around 3700-5000. Maverick, Ranger, Colorado, Tacoma are eating Ridgeline's lunch. I am a fan of the Ridgeline and hate to see market support collapse 66%. Price increases haven't helped it either. If Honda doesn't find a way to turn this around, I don't know how much longer they will build them.

The title said, "2024 Honda Ridgeline -- OWNER perspective review". This was really no opinions of someone that has owned this truck for any length of time, which is the exact review I was looking for. This was nothing more than any of the 100's of other reviews where you just go over features/improvement/a couple flaws. I mean, it was a decent review I guess, but certain did not offer the "owners perspective" that I was looking for.

3 years and 40k miles is how long I drove mine. What specifically would you like to know?
@ellbee67053 ай бұрын
Agree with Schweit10. You’re not 100% transparent with your title. Just questions your credibility. You could have titled the video more accurately or at least started the video stating you’re a prior model year owner and this is a 2024 review. I won’t be following you.
@MikesCarInfo3 ай бұрын
@@ellbee6705 The only difference its cosmetic. More experience is better than less experience. If I bought a 2024 truck and drove it for a month, then made a video, do you think that would be more useful to you? Think about it.
@ellbee67053 ай бұрын
@@MikesCarInfo Ya I did think about it. Your title is misleading. 2024’s have been available in my area for almost 7 months now, so it’s possible for someone to drive one for 4-5000 miles and provide some insight, but instead you have some demo unit with 3000 or so miles that you’re doing a video on. I’ve got a 2002 GMC Sierra that I’ve had since new but that doesn’t mean I should make a video on a 2024 model and title it owner perspective review whether it’s just cosmetic changes or not. I still agree with @shweit10 and think you could’ve worded the title more appropriately. Further you have 200k subscribers, you don’t need me. If you’re so concerned why a couple of people watched your video, questioned you on it, and you don’t like that, then why don’t you do a follow up video and ask your subscribers to vote on whether you could’ve titled it better.
@MikesCarInfo3 ай бұрын
@@ellbee6705 This isn't my first Ridgeline video lol . My subscribers are well aware of my experience with Ridgelines since 2017. My videos cover way more than the average owner even knows. You are not going to get this level of detail and experience from some random person who has owned a Ridgeline for a few months.
